Him being a headliner personality is a fucking stain to the game. His persona is abrasive as fuck, he's a funny-noise guy which would be fine if he actually good at it, and his whole deal is being loud, inflammatory, and saying awful things. He's not even fucking smart when he says outrageous offensive shit; it's dumb lowest-common-denominator crap.
I'm fine if you like that sort of shit; there is a place for that for that audience. But you don't give a dipshit like that a fucking OFFICIAL platform at the International. It's goddamn unprofessional the things that comes out of that man's mouth.
I'm sitting there at the Moonduck Major and this retard is there in an official capacity with zero improv skills and professional conduct. At absolutely no time were you convinced his schtick was an act; he is actually that horrible and for some fucking reason people love him for it. Fat jokes and racism - his repertoire is pathetic.
man Veeky Forums had so much potential. too bad it didn't work out.
James Barnes
so which are the heroes worth grinding to get the chat wheel responses? remember skywrath mage one is shit r*ddit meme and you should never even play that shit hero
Brayden Martinez
hes what i assume reddit/dota2 is like
low skill, less funny than twitch chat, contributes NOTHING to streams other than useless dribble, has no semblance of professionalism or even skill in interviewing/being a personality
hes like singsing; he is a meme celebrity and the community won't let him go
since fucking when does demonic purge not dispel repel >pick sd to counter omni >hes farming toplane >gank with earthshaker >he repels and tps out >lose
Oh come on man. I 100% agree about slacks and why redditards like him but please don't compare him to sing.
Sing has actually contributed to the DotA 2 community and done noteworthy things.
Whether or not you like sing's sense of humor or his streaming personality you can't deny what he's done for DotA as a game and as an esport. He got top 8 at a pre-memeback TI for christ's sakes.
Ryan Long
repel is undispellable since 7.00 and demonic purge is a basic dispel you're right, it is an unfair comparison. i actually really like sing and speed gaming was my favorite team all time
but they are similar in their celebrity meme status but sing's is positive while conversely stacks' is negative
Reminder that Bristle is a fucking asshole that is so easy that even a taco can use him effectively while he HUE HUE HUE'S all the way home, and to build THIS FUCKING ITEM HERE. DO IT.
WHY would they fucking buff omni even fucking more?
repel needs to be dispellable RIGHT NOW
Adam White
Yeah I can agree with that
Jose Rodriguez
ok we all know reddit bronies got scammed with this retarded AI subscription shit from valve which they probably pulled out of gabe's butthole one night without much effort
but do we really need these Reddit fags doing their gay quests in every game even Ranked games? it literally makes Dota a completely different game, now its like an autismo rpg simulator within a dying MOBA within a nu-male brawler
is iT JUST ME OR IS THE NEW hero PICKSCREEN DIFFERENT SIZED????
Liam Butler
they changed it because reddit kept demanding it
every single thing that has been ruined about this game has been due to reddit threads by some reddit fag at valve reading it all day
Levi Stewart
I mean as much as I hate reddit, I actually think of reddit as more of a symptom and Valve as being the disease.
There are always gonna be low-skill selfish retards who demand shitty changes to competitive games because they're just dumbasses, but Valve is one of the worst companies when it comes to actually listening to them.
If Valve had one single shred of integrity they wouldn't destroy the competitive viability of one of the best games ever made regardless of how much 2k redditors whined.

come at me
Adrian Wright
so it was just coincidence that alliance could only win playing dire during the GF of ti3
Owen Butler
why do i still come here? why do i still read patches?
>If Valve had one single shred of integrity they wouldn't destroy the competitive viability of one of the best games ever made regardless of how much 2k redditors whined. >the peak of dota competitiveness was the ti4 finals do people unironically believe this?
Jayden Morales
>TI8 >chinks turn to win TI >all chink teams are awful i wonder how can ruru turn this around
tfw you will never get to watch merloobi stream again you will never get to watch rtz when he was actually good again puppey will probably never stream again
why live
Joseph Harris
people said this exactly same thing before wings showed everyone another level
Camden Murphy
There is not that much difference between the top tier teams the games are decided in the draft more than anything
Jacob Brooks
I actually hate the new map so much, with the shitty staircase jungle and over nine thousand billion jukeholes everywhere with more than 2 trees. The last thing the game needed was wards and flying vision being even more powerful than they used to.
Jordan Rogers
>you will never see the best team to grace dota2 ever play again.
Anthony Cook
wings were not human, they were genetically modified creatures created by the chinese goverment to win TI6 and keep china relevant ask yourself where are they now? exacly they're all dead
Angel Brown
VP literally chokes at every TI, without exception. Remember last year when VP looked like the best team ever and still choked?
Caleb Powell
I hope you're not using one single series to try to arrive on some kind of conclusion about the state of the game at any given time, because THAT would be mind-numbingly stupid...
Classic fucking redditard
Carter Walker
what is merlini doing now btw?
Lincoln Perez
thank twich TOS
people cant be themselves anymore or SJW inquisition will punish them
Luis Rivera
>the top echelon of play can not be used to pass judgement on the integrity of a patch yeah, just because retards in your pubs didnt abuse the patch doesnt mean it was the pinnacle of competition
Hudson Smith
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? I could just as easily say that Na'Vi could only win as radiant in GF of TI3.
Are you actually trying to base the balance of radiant and dire off of one series where each team played the same faction every game?
Robert Reed
>could just as easily say that Na'Vi could only win as radiant in GF of TI3.
Michael Hughes
Thats actually most realistic and reasonable theory i ever heard from dotards.
i'm not sure, but he really made the smart move regarding what he does. odds are dota dies in a few years and if he doesn't jump start on a real career he will be up shit creek
IIRC he put his med school on hold to play dota 2 professionally and then moved on to cast/analyze
hes a smart guy and i'll really miss his presence in dota2. hopefully he will consider being a commentator in big events or at least still present in the community
Julian Wilson
You do realize that Vici were the team who relied more heavily on deathball, right?
I'm getting the feeling that the grand finals was the only series you watched of TI4. I honestly don't see how someone's cognitive function could be so low that they believe a 3-1 result in one tournament is a terrible thing.
It might be slightly less exciting for people who only care about SICk FlasHY TEAMFITES and shit but for people who prefer to see the team with more skilled players and better strategy be the winner it really wasn't that bad.
I will admit that at the time, 6.81 was the worst patch/meta to have ever existed in the history of DotA. But the difference between 6.81 and every trash memeback patch after it is infinitely larger than the tiny difference in game quality between 6.81 and the patches that came before it.
Samuel Thomas
Kanna hero when?
Dominic Young
>teams that lost used other strategies!!!!
Levi Edwards
The only man that won't oblige to what Ali tells him to do. The only man that won't follow The Script. The only one who can save us from TI8 being won by another shady chinese organization. The only one who would never take the throw order. The only man that can save us. Can't find a team to save his fucking life.
Teams that played a slower farming game were overall more successful than teams that relied mainly on deathball.
Also, deathball had almost no success whatsoever in the scrims and small tournaments after TI4 but still on the same patch. Just like any other strategy in a game that has good mechanics and decent balance it only seems unbeatable when people aren't used to it and/or don't understand it that well.
Lincoln Thomas
valve started paying good money to beyond the summit to cast lans, now they won't cast any qualifers anymore, merlini, godz, ld, winter, and all the other retards i dont remember the name are gone now and we're left with things like maut
Justin Jackson

They didn't choke at TI5.
Samuel Gomez
>6.81 was the worst patch/meta to have ever existed in the history of DotA. But it was the best and most balanced patch
