How to git gud in a couple of easy steps:
>block while reviving
>dodge is your primary defensive tool

>dont try to sneak past patrols as oftentimes they will loop back around and come backstab you at a very bad time. Taking them out is always superior except maybe with the Legend chaos patrols.
>when boss has aggro on you, dont spin around it as your teammates will get fucked by strikes aimed at you. Instead kite it backwards or even in place if good enough.
>never, ever, dont rely on your teammates to kill a dangerous special. Doesnt matter what your "role" is. Take out your drakepistols and kill the leech as you can be sure that they wont be doing it.

In legend whenever we end up getting an ironbreaker dwarf with axe+shield I'm always immediately wary because 90% of the time it's going to be some retard who just pushes shit around and doesn't kill anything.

My problem is that as Sienna, even with curse resistance, my health is already extremely low compared to everyone else. Everything turns in to a potential one shot, even friendly fire from an elf shooting my ass.

Testing has been done and you can try it for yourself, go into a game and shoot the bots dead (DON'T hit them while they're bleeding out, that counts too and it's 400 HP if I remember correctly) then kill yourself and check the damage done/damage taken.

You won't get carried by Champion with Power, you need skill there. Not a lot but some basic coordination.
The instant you unlock it so about 220.
Seriously, dont bother too much with the power level. Getting good is the only thing that matters in this game and you can steamroll champion with minimal power.
If you get fucked with 220 power you'll get fucked with 600
Heropower isnt gonna magically fix your problems that stem from no coordination.

i've been doing champion from the bare minimum and been doing fine
honestly even with bad players it's not that hard on a 0 grim run and 1 grim is no sweat either. unfortunately a lot of bad players are also the most eager to go for double grims.
to be fair even if you git gud there is still a large degree of RNG. The game can occasionally decide it's time to die

It actually deals significant knockback. The issue most Slayers face is that they jump in the middle of the horde where the non-CCd ones kill them in seconds.
But jumping at the edge of a horde gives you great control.
you do a lot of damage, and you're a berserker archetype, so you get the feeling that you'll a lot tougher than you really are, or you'll just be able to kill everything
and then you get one-shot by a chaos warrior, hooked by a hookrat, or completely surrounded by pinkies
