What ever somone had to do it.

It's easy to hit a detonator in the head and run up to him to backstab without him blowing up or having to slow down for stealth. Similarly, I can also use it to stun trackers and mortars and then backstab them, though that's more useful for mortars.

Why would you? Assuming your teammates aren't braindead, hard difficulty is easy to S-rank and gives you 900BP (like 5x what you get on easy) and it takes only like 5 minutes longer.

Except you have to blow shitloads of resources on Hard

You get 900 BP for B ranks in hard.

So as long as you don't completely fail, you're golden.

Holy shit dudes, Rescue mode is what I've been craving for since the multiplayer beta came out. I've only played easy so far but even that can fuck you up good if no one prepares the extraction digger with defences, the medic stamina buff may not work but shoulder charge is a fucking godsend to boot bombers away.

I'm not fussed about the rewards just yet as for a first try its fucking fun

They drop regular crafting mats sometimes then? I've killed like a dozen and all of them had an ammo box.

It costs a lot when I'm the only one putting up fences.

Yes they do, in Rescue. They don't have a lot of deployables for you to use on defending.
He means there's a 7 day pass for only 200 SV coins right now (the price of a single day pass).
Also it's 1800BP for clearing 3 waves on ANY difficulty rescue here.

I've only booted Big Picture once to see what's it about and after only by mistake. Pretty sure I wasn't forcing anything at any point.

Can we verify what states allow you to damage wanderers coming out of wormholes? I think they patched it to stop you from puting auto turrets on spawns, because in Rescue they're immune to damage until they get up off the ground. Double check because we didn't test in Salvage or anything.
Would probably change quite a lot.

I don't think you can damage them when they're just coming out in salvage either. You can still damage them in single player moving singularities though.

Did salvage weekly today, no damage untill they hit the ground for sure. I don't quite remember wheter it wears off when they do hit it or after they get up.

No, but since release alt-tabbing during loading often gave me infinite load.

Switch from fullscreen to borderless. It sucks too, because I get better performance in fullscreen.

Borderless fullscreen seems to work, didn't have any issues.

Any idea what the shop will have? The BP item list is what goes into your supply box when you hit the required BP.

Just solo easy village rescue, got a B rank. Not sure what hard is like but ramps are pretty damn good if you line the paths with them. Had 0 defenses set up at the digger so pretty much just counted on the dude getting ballooned and evac'd before he dropped.

Also, just tried ramps in solo hard. In forsaken village at the very least, placing them in super tight chokepoints fucks with the hard. I managed to solo bring one back to the digger as a test. If you don't place it in a good chokepoint they will just walk around it while you go over it. As a disclaimer I didn't have any trackers or mortars on my ass, just bombers who would walk over the ramp, fall and I wouldn't see them again till the end.

the main problem with state of decay was its lack of multiplayer which the sequel has

I like Survive because it's mechanically impeccable and feels excellent to play (because Fox engine of course) and judging by State of Decay 1 there is absolutely zero chance of this even coming close to Survive in terms of raw gameplay.
