CB fits way better since it has more versatility. The mobility and sliding for trickster, blocking for royalguard, both fast, flurry attacks and slow, heavy attacks, building up power in a gauge to unleash (DT, fuck I'll orgasm if charging shield and sword activates a devil trigger model). It may be their OP pet weapon and the majority who use it may go full Grug, but it's still the best fit.
