Why doesn't anyone do spectres + SRS? It's usually one or the other.
Sockets. You don't have an infinite number of them.
Mana. Either you go MoM, or you use Hatred for SRS. Can't have both.

[6L]Chest, for SRS
[4L]Zombies + AG + Golem + Some Supp Gem
Rest to fit Bone Offering, EE Proc skill, and Desecrate,etc. Use Hatred because it still leaves you with 1.5k+ mana.

IC needs only 800% increased duration to be permanent. That's about 4/5 Endurance Charges and an Increased Duration gem. That means in 3 seconds you need to generate 5 charges. That's 30 attacks in 3 seconds, or only 10 attacks per second. That's downright EASY to get, especially if you keep a Redblade Banner in the offhand and swap to it when you cast Enduring Cry to get a FREE charge.

Something's wrong then. This is my setup it's basically the same but I'm using splash over Maim and my mana cost is way higher

Taming requires a specific vendor recipe while Yoke is just a random drop.
Skellys are super aggressive but slow as fuck. With Escape + the Necro nodes they just run around and kill everything for you

Neither. It applies globally to any attacks you use.
i just dont like to build around jewels unless they are quest reward threshold jewels, mostly because you cant reliably plan on getting them early on your league starter

What keeps people playing this game if everything is lost every few months? From what I understand there is basically no interest or reason to play standard. So what gives?
You don't want The Elder or any of his Guardians on the exact map you want to farm, they changed it so boss spawn maps give zero bonus mobs or items.
You however do want to spawn them as close as possible to the map you want to farm, so the influence cannot be pushed back by the Shaper too far.
This is my current setup for this league, When I clear Estuary, the Shaper moves in and occupies the map from the bottom path, but he can't push beyond it because all the connected maps are occupied by permanent Elder Spawns.
So when I clear the Shaper off the map, the Elder influence immediately replaces it, I can cycle Shaper and Elder forever.
Your spawns for Burial Chambers are fine, there is 1 map bufferzone between one and two for another, which means the Shaper won't be able to push too far, but you sometimes might need to clear a Relic Chambers to push the Shaper back and get the Elder to move back on.
Sometimes, even with my setup, the Shaper just fucks off and map has zero influence, but if you just go run a couple of other maps, either the elder will spread or the Shaper will show up on it again.
I'm sure you have already experimented with all this by now though, I just woke up and was browsing the previous thread, gl m8.

The Diablolike genre is based off of constant progression. When you retain equipment, progression is set to nothing, you are effectively just cheating in new gear for a new character. As such, the concept of leagues is a necessity to keep the progression escalator running.

its like a singleplayer game - if you really like it then you enjoy replaying it from time to time. and you would rather do an entire new playthrough each time than just dick around in your finished savegame forever.

I suppose I do like min maxing characters, but grinding them all out to find what I like is tiresome. Especially if my idea doesn't pan out. Game reminds me of Dark Souls in that way, however in that game I could make save states and not have to grind for days just to try shit out. Also DS PvP is dope, not sure the same can be said for this game. I only tried once and got btfo. Not butt hurt about that though as I don't know the meta nor do I have the gear.

Nigger what are you doing. You need at least one jewel socket for From Dust so you can summon your retinue much faster, and extra jewel sockets are very efficient investments if they're 1 or 2 pointers.
You should be able to get like 220% life at least, too.

I know. I beat the game with a summoner though that I mostly did myself though, far from min maxed and yes the learning curve of mechanics in this game is fucking massive.
I recently started a ranger with the goal of making a wander. The DPS is absolute garbage though and I wont even get to bust out the wands until endgame. So I'm a little demoralized in seeing it through.
