AB still has its own set of unique maps and you can jump straight into some high octane action. RB has higher skill ceiling but also is stuck with climb meta. Planes have more gravity+weight and you have to be mindful of more stuff. It's fun on its own, but the amount of idle time (queueing and flying to combat zone) can be off-putting. Also don't ever use flight stick in RB and AB. It's the same as playing against mouse users in FPS using gamepad

Considering the updater uses p2p, you may want to uncheck upload limiter. Certain torrent client or tracker will throttle your download if you don't meet seed rate

play something you're good at that has a high SL return. Planes like the PV-2D harpoon or BV238 that can bomb a few bases AND kill a few enemys are probably the best SL farming machines. After this patch probably the He-177. Dive in with 600km/h, kill two or three bases, get clustered by the enemy team, maybe take one of them down with you, repeat. If it's just for farming SL/RP, you generally want to play like an asshole and not for the win, as much as i dislike that. Rush in, do as much damage as possible, repeat.
