People on Legend just don't know how to react to situations. Horde coming? They just stand still without looking for a nearby chokepoint to hold. They just have no situational awareness.

>mayflies

I've been playing elf and dwarf and I have a question.

What's the point of dual wielding over using a 2H weapon?
I know personal choice is a big factor but I'm just trying to understand why so many people like the daggers and axes. Is there something I'm missing? 2H almost always seems to clear trash better and most of the time can deal with armoured targets.

Outside of shade and slayer I see no point in bringing them.

Asking again, but whenever rats or whatever catch fire they flash white before burning, is this normal or a graphical glitch?

Now you see me
*teleports to the other side of the map*
Now you don't

>"Don't you stay up too late. I've got work for you tomorrow."

H-He's like the father they probably never had

Is there an alternate timeline where the end times doesn't end in chaos victory and we don't get the disgusting bucket of vomit that is age of sigmar? can't we just have some skaven chaos stalemate that ends up diminishing the empire without outright destroying the world?

Does this talent even do shit at 600 hero power? The hero power system is some weird ass tiered system where you have to meet thresholds to get benefits. Do these tiers exist past 600?

Slayer's the best and most fun class.

>open 17 Legend Emperor chests
>9 Legend General chests
>3 Legend Merchant chests
>out of all of this I have gotten 2 red trinkets and a fuck ton of blues/oranges

This is legit fucking crap.

Yes, talent power goes past 600.

>playing ribsplitter level on champ as Bounty hunter
>going well so far
>beat final boss pretty easily, but two players get surrounded by enemies and killed right at the end
>about to leave arena
>rating gunner and sneak rat spawn at exit
>rating gunner starts immediately firing at me, sneak rat jumps for IB
>instantly downed, then killed by rating gunner
>IB gets ratted
>lose
The special spawns are bs sometimes

for elf, the dual weapons definitely clear trash faster, but lack good armor penetration with the exception of the daggers, which lack proper defense

>Eldrazor
>Eldrazi

>le skillfull dive >:)
fuck off back to overwatch

This is something that pisses me off about every difficulty level.
How do people not understand this shit. It's so fucking basic. A bunch of meat-headed pedophiles from the bronze age figured this shit out, how do randoms in pubs not get this tactic. It's mind boggling. They heard the horde sound and they just stand out in the open, fucking *begging* to be surrounded, or worse, they're already inside a fucking building and will race out of the fucking building to fight them in the open.
It's these moments that bring me closest to being that autistic mic-raging sperglord. I just wanna fucking scream at them for being so stupid.

Do you think 90 extra hero power is worth losing the 5% attack speed at that tier?

>Playing as Slayer on Legend
>Usually do equally as good as everyone else
>Keep people alive in hordes
>Leap and revive when needed
>Don't get caught by grabbers more than others
>Slaying Storms and CWs by the dozen
>Keep boss's occupied and reliably wither them down
>Never leave teammates to leap somewhere and get surrounded
>Join a new server
>"SLAYER? REALLY?"

I've tried IB quite a bit but the lesser DPS is really not worth being almost invincible when people don't let me tank and aggro.

Get +5 attack speed on your weapon and it won't matter. 90 is just below 1/6 of your power.

Normal. Pretty nice indicator, except they don't always die.

They do though, the entire model flashes bright white and that means they are dead. This only happens to clan rats though I'm pretty sure.

Problem with Slayer really is the lack of ranged option
They can't do shit to save their team quickly from an impeding Ratling gunner, globadier, or bilestormer
To top it all off, the things they do well are done equally as well by other classes

Shields give 180 push by default, does that mean the talent "only" gives you 260?

What are the acceptable power levels / character levels for each difficulty? I want to move up, but I don't want to hold back the group.

dedicated servers when?
fatshark, you promised

>Narrowly clear first horde while standing in the open with mouth breathers despite trying to communicate to get into a corner
>The music is still going
>Next wave is approaching
>They run forward like nothing is coming to an even worse spot

How many hordes do you need to face to understand it's not just one wave? This is on champ and legend too.

Does Bounty Hunter's crit guarantee work on the entire shot of a repeating pistol's charge attack? Like, all 8 shots worth of damage do a crit if you do the repeating charge, or just one of the 8?

>You can't combine careers and equipment to fill certain roles
Holy shit, I hope you stay in recruit/veteran

THE DEDICATED SERVERS FATSHARK
HAND THEM OVER

t.elf shitter

can you complete the mission with bots with character level/power level of choice?

if so then it's enough to play with others although people kick low levels from vet/champion games because they're retarded

I once had a glitch where the horde music kept playing throughout the whole mission so it could be that.

A month or so according to their roadmap.

The true high IQ is kicking people based on playtime and asking stupid questions/saying stupid things

Attached: Shame about Ussingen.webm (1000x562, 2.24M)

For elf dualies are best for melee dps, they get a tasty crit chance and two instances of damage. Great for light & squishy hordes and wailing into bosses with an ok moveset for hitting heads
They're rendered rather moot once you get attack speed for the spear though as it's a vastly superior defensive option

Kruber main here, niglet

Oh, and having an Asian name

Poor guy. Chaos Spawn knocked him over there. Luckily he didn't have a tome or grimoire [spoiler[although the other dead guy had both, he grabbed it while we were fighting.

Attached: file.png (1920x1200, 3.01M)

>he plays with bots

I just want to say I share this rage. Why don't people get in a corner when there's a horde coming? And it's ALWAYS the fucking elf or the fucking dwarf that does it.

Is volley crossbow the best side arm for bounty hunter?

Guys, I know I'm asking for an impossible thing, but can you please drop the memery for a second and explain to me how to play elf on Champion\Legend? What weapons are the best to use, what talents are better and which ones are bugged.
As far as I gathered, Handmaiden requires a good teamwork so that everyone benefits from stamina regen, but people in quickplay tend to ignore that. Shade seems to be a little bit too weak for Champ\Legend. I mean, invisibility and high damage is cool, but it's kinda meaningless if I'm gonna just die all the time. Waystalker seems like the most balanced choice, but I find her boring.
Also, what's the deal with crit chance? Is it bugged or something?

Sorry I can't here you over here, you're too far down the scoreboard and I'm busy two shoting chaos warriors.

Stay mad umgi.

Attached: 1520804094647.jpg (358x349, 48K)

>not playing Shade and twoshotting bosses to carry your shitter team
Just don't get hit and you won't die all the time idiot

Of course you have a point but the leap is underappreciated. I've been "saved" by ranged characters but they mostly manage to bop the grabber and not the surrounding enemies = take a ton of damage and go down anyway. The leap staggers just enough to get allies free and avoid damage until they can at least block again. With extra revivespeed it even gets them up before you get surrounded and smacked again.

With mostly defensive talents you got great survivability, good movement options, clear trash quick, oneshot storms, tank damage with temp health and threeshot CWs without crit. I feel like I can stay alive longer than my team and that's without running away from them to leave them to die.

>empire in flames courtyard area where you have to wait for the gate to wind down
>we all huddle in a corner on one side of the yard, under cover
>horde begins
>other 3 members gradually move apart and begin taking damage as they chase down rats/kills instead of waiting for them to come to us

I was just in disbelief, moving out from the cover allows shit to drop down behind you to, it's not like it was a safe advance along a corridor.

The green circles have gone too far

What's the current best bounty hunter build?

which careers are canon??

The graphical overlays when activating specials really goes fucking insane in overly bright and dark areas. I wish they had toned all of those down considerably. The audiocue is pretty much enough to know how long it's up. Sometimes I'm really struggling to see what's happening or what I'm doing.

>play Pyromancer and decide to finally use the Beamstaff after enjoying boltstaff
>first game of legend I double almost all of my bolt staff stats effortlessly

Oh boy, infinite heat, an armour piercing, hitscan, no charge, instant cast sniper bolt was a good idea to give to the beam staff when it already had the shotgun and the beam.

The worst part is shitters don't even know this weapon's alt-fire exists because they never test it, still needs to be nerfed to fuck.

>4 games in a row
>champ
>everyone has private profile or 'where is grim'
>FF everywhere
fucking save me from this

Attached: 1434505730646.jpg (666x632, 61K)

I dont care that you say that rapier is bad.It is still comfiest weapon

get an orange repeater or volley that gives you 2 ammo for crits
Pick either the talent that reduces the cooldown or makes you shoot for free on impatient, depending what you prefer
The rest is really upto you

but the rapier isn't bad. It's his best weapon and literally everyone knows it

I enjoyed vt1 on hardest difficulty.

But Legend in vt2 is just stupid.
It doesn't matter how good you are, you can't win against the director.

If you do win a legend round, something has gone wrong.

We are still in beta, testing the Legend difficulty.

Attached: 1364894448210.gif (400x316, 979K)

>another player's character yells at your character for shooting them
>first time you hear this interaction is on a new, higher difficulty
>unable to put 2 and 2 together

Say mayfly or lumberfoot one more time you stupid fucking cunt...

It's sad how Wizard seems to be hit by the hardest nerfs, at least if you look at V1. They never buff the staves considered absolute trash but rather bring everything OP down to trash level. Suddenly no one plays Wizard anymore.

How do crits work exactly? Is it just entirely random?

>being this retarded

Legend isn't as hard as you think it is, I have beaten every stage but Skittergate on legend because fuck the final boss+infinite storm skaven

All you have to do is build to kill armor and legend becomes the biggest babyfest in the world. Anti-armor builds can oneshot every armored unit, and that counts Chaoswarriors too since Pyromancer, WS, and BH can all use their abilities constantly to remove them.

Um, and what weapons\talents should I use to do that? Twoshot bosses, I mean.

They buffed the bolt staff and made it completely absurdly broken for many months

I'm maining Sienna but is that Lv25 talent for erasing Overcharge really that OP?

I'm asking because I chose the reduced cooldown on the ability since I'm the team's designated big guy killer and I almost always have 100% increased Overcharge delay because of the talent related to grimoire, but can I really do better than that by just spamming sniper shots with the beam staff?

I WANT THE ROTBLOODS TO STOP PUTTING CHEMICALS IN THE WATER TURNING THE FUCKING TROLLS TO CHAOS

Attached: asd.jpg (300x168, 7K)

Random, but bounty hunter's passive give him a confirmed crit on his next shot every 10 seconds or after you score a melee kill
When you crit every bullet/projectile that you fired will be a crit, so a spun up repeater will fire 8 crit shots at once.

You have "somekind" of base crit chance and then it adds to it with your equipment.

Too bad Fatshark doesn't have a god damn overall stats screen for all that kind of shit. I mean, what's my exact health? Critchance? Current critdamage (other than whacking dummies), Damage reduction? Total block/push radius? Movespeed?

You can add up most of it by yourself by experimenting but it would be so much easier with a sheet.

I enjoy Legend actually. With my group of friends of course, couldn't imagine playing it with pubs. We've only beaten one mission so far, but making progress feels very rewarding and almost every run you learn something new to improve on.

Pyromancer is legit the most broken career in the game user. Building max crit with crit to vent or crit to cooldown ability + vent all charge on skull means you can fire your weapons forever. Boltstaff is strong as fuck, but Beamstaff is legit the most fucked thing in this entire game. I can clear chaos patrols on legend by just using dagger to kite and turning and alt-firing into the patrol from time to time.

No one is playing Sienna because they don't know how strong Bolt and Beam are and they're mongols who can't figure out how to use the bolt's sniper alt-fire.

Some attacks seem to have a guaranteed crit or at least a very high chance of critting. Like the second hit of the twin axe charged attack

And then nerfed it to something worse than conflag.

I'm already taking care of specials and armored targets. They aren't a problem until you have 3-5 instant takedown specials at once.

Chokers teleporting behind two players, 3 assassins, stuff like that during a horde.

Webm related, but on Legend etc.

What staff do you use by default? Because Beamstaff with every talent that reduces over charge will almost never overheat. If you want to go ham you can either

1. Get the trait on your weapon that when you crit you vent
You will never overheat EVER. You never need to stop firing
2. Stay with the cd reduction talent and spam skull to reduce your heat
You'll over heat if shit gets risky but other than that

Beamstaff is fucked beyond belief for how strong it is. The sniper fire erases enemies and has no charge time like bolt staff's charge. You can just spam it into enemies and it even has a tiny aoe.

Literally everyone here keeps schilling falchion tho

>Playing a Bounty Hunter with Repeating Crossbow with Scrounger

Attached: GUNNERS.png (1023x707, 572K)

Where the fuck have you been? Bolt Staff is still strong as fuck, it's just beamstaff is better in every way possible because of its alt fire and zero heat generation.

try the axe it'll open your eyes to the truth

I like the flail. Am I the only one?

Why does every second dwarf insist on using the drake pistols even in close range like a fucking retard?

>spinemanglr map on champ
>do we want to 2 grim this level
>yeah this boss is easy just poke and dodge backwards
>boss is mainly aggro'd on me because I can only assume I'm the only one doing damage to him
>get him to the stand still and trash wave phase
>kruber and dwarf only go in for hits when he starts to swing his big attack
>we wipe
>told you we shouldn't have done 2 grims
all the trash veterans players finally graduated but they didn't get better

Attached: 1512052212305.png (685x824, 412K)

it's alright

>No one is playing Sienna
Every single fucking game on any difficulty there's a Pyro shitter ruining the game, that's why I've been playing nothing but Sienna so that doesn't happen.

yeah nah nah nah
falch is just a more useful axe, it's been like that since it first came out in v1
Axe can't even get backstabbery to save it like it's red had in 1

Wait, I thought the beam's crit chance only gets calculated when you first click, not on every damage tick?

Did they change that or am I being an idiot?

> They are people in this very thread that whined about huntrad nerf and claimed that "it was fair because he was specialist"

then you don't have enough anti-special on your team. I won't lie, specials spawning on top of you or the succ wizard slapping your ass when he teleports next to you before leeching you is fucking stupid, but legend isn't impossible. Waystalker and Pyromancer can delete specials from the game the second they spawn and should be using their INCREDIBLY low CD ults for this and chaos warriors only. If your pyromancer or ws are using their ults every time its off cd you're going to have a shit game. If you don't have one of those look forward to a harder run.

it was OP in VT1, don't know in VT2

they do more damage than his shield + 1h

>tfw witch hunter aura does team damage
>it's bonus can get cancelled by bardin

It's not fair
Why cant he be good

At least Specials had the courtesy to spawn out of your possible 360 line of sight in V1. I think they changed it later but I sure hate hearing a gutter spawn and even before the sound has finished playing they are midleap and right ontop of you.

you don't need to rely on the beam to reduce your overcharge, the shotgun and the sniper bolt will do it for you.

>tfw your autism won't let you use any other weapon but the bow on Huntsman Kruber
Thankfully it's not too shabby a weapon

Jesus that sounds broken

>shot goes wide on the special that proceeds to wipe the game

yeah, with temp hp from your 20 talents you can even vent between shotgun bursts because you'll just be venting a sliver of temp hp.

I've been playing Pyromancer since release and have been doing it. J-sat did a playthough with beamstaff and came to the same realization that Pyromancer is beyond fucked since you never need to stop using your staff.

youtube.com/watch?v=IfQ0u-GcXns

I'm bad give me tips. Didn't play the first one I have 4 hours on this, help me not be shit. I've been playing the witch hunter with the rapier. I constantly ended up with the most damage taken even though i dodge backward/to the side it feels like shit follows me regardless and fucka my day
