>tfw found out the elf meme is real

Any good exploits like in the first game? Shit was fun as hell in the first game. Not counting cheat engine, going more for Black Powder style.

Repeater pistol or crossbow for Bounty Hunter?

>be elf
>doing well, but using a spear and elves don't have broken ranged stuff like lasers or bounty hunter weapons able to one shot bosses
>bounty hunter comes in first in circles
>get shittalked afterwards even though I was second place in damage to bosses and enemies, kills, special kills, and in least damage taken

Does crit power not work? Testing on slayer axes and it doesn't seem to improve crit damage at all on dummies.

Crossbow is the most useful considering you can clear elites better than knife-ears, but the pistols have a certain fun factor that crossbows just don't have.

What is the most efficent way to progress rapidly through power levels? I've so far had really bad luck with getting better gear, even though I've been playing on veteran all my stuff is still around 80 power or so. Should I be crafting new items as soon as I have parts for them?

>decide to finally give champs a go
>first game someone decides to throw an incendiary bomb on top of 3 of us
>next one the sienna keeps flamethrowing us from behind

o-ok

If you're not above 100 power there's no reason to play Vet. Everything else is just RNG.

>playing ironbreaker with a friend and 2 pubs
>bile troll on fort near the river
>2 randos get knocked into the river almost instantly
>just me and my mate as the elf
>elf dies from going down to much when the boss is at like 1/5th health remaining
>finish the troll solo
>elf gets a generals chest at the end and i get a soldier
THATS GOIN IN THE BOOK

>tfw no goblin gf

Predictions for new characters/careers?

I have found a few jumping exploits for fun, but nothing useful.

Couldn't that mouse chew it's way out of the frog? Frogs don't have teeth so all it can do is try to suffocate/crush the mouse.

The compressive force in the mouth more often crushes most bones in the mice's body stopping then from even being able to open their jaws until they eventually suffocate. In this case it seems it just closed its mouth too early before it was completely in its mouth

>play Bounty Hunter
>got an elf on team
>accidentally shot her because she run in front of me
>"stop shooting me"
>as i use my repeater rifle i accidentally hit her again
>"ffs stop shooting me"
>accidentally shot her a third time because the bullet went through an enemy and hit her
>"GIERNHGAIU8ENGOGMOINAIWEWEIFPOGMDB9NDZI-.,,-!"
>start shooting me with arrows
>we end up having a duel
>i win and she dies because she had already been down twice
>she rage quits
>get kicked from the group

worth it

Black Orc character
>black Orc class
Like a mix between ironbreaker and slayer, double melee
>savage orc
Fanatic with weird luck based passives
>arrow boy?
Plays like a retarded ranger

>accidentally shooting people
Sounds like someone just has shit aim

What build is best and how to play Kruber?

I dunno what you mean by "build", but the most effective I've been with Kruber is either Merc or FK, using a 2h Hammer/Halberd, and using the Blunderbuss

Do you mean individual gear pieces or like, total power level. My current total power level is something like 180ish by this point even though my gear is stuck below 100

>Orc heroes
fucking STOP this meme.

Seriously. More likely to get an ogre than an orc.

Attached: Warhammer_Ogre_Maneater.png (545x841, 1.17M)

Bretonnian knight kruber skin fucking when?

Attached: tumblr_ltlsypNSq01r3vk43o1_500.jpg (485x641, 125K)

Rapier or Falchion for Bounty Hunter?

2 handed sword.

I bought into the Falchion meme but I'm considering going back to the axe. I haven't noticed a difference on trash but for armored and shielded enemies the axe is way better

Individual gear pieces.Your characters power is the average of their gear plus the power from their level. Different difficulties tell you what the max power level you can get from their completion rewards are. Recruit: 100 power. Vet: 200 power. So on and so forth.

Attached: 1520694171627.png (873x768, 1.42M)

How the fuck would an ogre even work indoors? dudes are fucking huge

Any decent pistols illusions for Salty?

Hence why they're being used as an example of just how unlikely it is to get an orc character.

fucking what?

How 'bout a Bretonnian? Or someone else who might conceivably be working with the crew, and no a fucking Orc or Ogre?

>tfw stuck at 298 power for more than 5 chests.
I just want to end this garbage grinding, and also nice new hat for my man Kruber fucking when

Attached: 1520114240168.jpg (552x364, 110K)

Didn't like Fatshark's CEO or something voice an interest in having an Ogre in-game tho?

>finally win a Legend match
>fuckery everywhere with clutch saves and clutch kills all day
>barely make it out alive with a rat ogre on our asses

Didn't get anything noteworthy but it was great fun and I felt like I had to really work for it.

how the fuck do I play sienna

Anyone found a hat?

As what subclass or just in general?

Sure, but it would take some serious fucking bullshit to get an ogre working in game. There are spaces that one has to climb through to move through levels that ogres are way too big to fit through. Like the little canyons near the beginning of Athel or the tubes you have to fall through in Convocation. An ogre just couldn't fit through those areas, unless it was a pretty puny ogre.

Attached: ogres.jpg (765x530, 141K)

Legend is place where a real game begins.

pyromancer & in general if you don't mind

So how long until queek headgiver step in and show the scrubs how it's done ?

I feel like a halfling is probably most likely, compared to all the other possibilities. It's different enough from all the others while also not being totally out there in terms.

I would like to see another kind of wizard, maybe Grey, but I don't know how they would handle that compared to Sienna.

>new hero is announced
>it's a Tomb King
How would you react?

Tips for making the game run better?
I've got an I7 and a 970, only 8gb ram tho

What classes make best use of the regen necklace?

IB, foot knight, Waystalker? Handmaiden?

>halfling
NO

DELETE THIS RIGHT NOW

Halfling/gnome characters always, ALWAYS end up being played by the most autistic cancerous shits.

As long as we get someone as best girl as Khalida I'm In

Game after game of players who still haven't learnt the basics of how to play.

>ignoring supplies
>running off down side paths on their own
>backtracking on their own
>ignoring elites
>thinking they're dps/tank/ranged all in one
>standing in fire/gas for way too long
>not reviving when it's safe too

I was expecting these players to either begin to learn or be filtered out by now. This game punishes you so hard for not playing correctly I thought they couldn't help but learn. How are you guys finding a quality game? Do I need to wait until the highest difficulty? Is it only possible by not playing with randoms?

Is there a collection of the Red Item Skins? Id love to see what most of them look like. Particularly the crossbows and staves.

Who would you guess for a new character, if we got one?

How possible is a Vampire count character? At this stage the vamps are allied with empire to prevent chaos

Random vampire name
Classes

Von carstein - uses swords and ranged is a magic options such as gaze of nagash, and other spells maybe a zombie summons if implemented In a non OP way. Special ability is a invocation of Nehek, healing caster for like 10% of hp

Blood dragon - melee specialist focus on big swords, and best tank option with sword and shield. No range option, but increased melee output and special is an enrage increasing damage for so many seconds

Can't think of a good third character

Warhammer halflings are alright.

Attached: Halflings.jpg (700x385, 56K)

they haven't realised the new character will be a kislevite streltsi/kossar/tchekist

I gave up playing pubs for now like I did with vermintide one and only play with my IRL friends and a few steam friends I met from the first one. Every once in a great while we will pick up a random but only if there are three of us. I have a feeling the majority of people that play past the first month or two are in the same boat as I am.

Attached: 1520602667886.jpg (636x358, 167K)

The biggest hump would be lore-wise Kruber has a huge hate-boner for vamps.

Also why do people keep posting about vamp characters and citing Von Carstein as if its a class and not a fucking family name

Impossible, kruber would snap and kill him, dwarfs have huge grudge against them, elfs consider them not better than chaos, and saltspyre lost his eye because of a vampire, only sienna would tolerate him
And no, classes are not the same as dynasty, you don't wake up and say "oh i'm tired of being a von carstein, let's become a strigoi"

Attached: 1514496613941.jpg (512x450, 116K)

I don't know why people are suggesting vampire characters to begin with they launched a lot of the major attacks against the empire during the end times. Most likely it would be one of the many Allied human factions the strangest but most likely would be a high elf, northerner bretonnian, or some other Allied country.

Lahmian for the stealth class
The Vamp would have to be a chick and after Total War, I'm totally down with that

The family names have a set class type.

Strigoi are a breed of vampire but also a family like the Von Carstein.

Halfling seems most likely at this point. Halfling are longtime allies of the Empire, they're not fucking enormous, and they could theoretically fill a niche that isn't already filled like a support/healer type. Vampires were recently at war with the Empire, orcs are out of the question, and I guess we could see a Bretonnian or Kislevite but I dunno how they would be different from what we have.

Vampire Lord - Mix of swords and magic

Blood Dragon - Melee specialist, life leech, special gives you a damage, attack speed, and movement speed boost, but slowly ticks away until you have 50% of the health you had when you triggered it OR 1 health, whichever is higher.

Lich - Magic specialist. Special switches between lores of magic:
Shadow, Death, and vampire. Each of which change the liches primary, heavy and ranged attacks.

Bretonian Knight/High Elve would fit the gameplay and the lore.
Ogre would be cool but he won't fit the gameplay due to his size.
Halfling might work but who want to play such a thing ?
Lizardman saurus/Vampire would be nice but they couldn't fit lorewise, even if the idea of playing a freacking saurus make my dick hard, and they hate skavens too.

people are suggesting it because Sienna's and Salty's relationship sets a precedent for "The current threat is a bigger deal than our squabbles" type of thing. Honestly the only interesting option they DO have seems to be vamp at this point.

Brettonian makes no fucking sense unless he were to have a horse. Orc wouldn't be able to work with anyone in the party, and ogre's simply too big.

Because most of the people playing aren't familiar at all with the actual setting. Vampire Counts are basically the sworn enemies of the Empire, I highly doubt we will ever see one as a playable character.

I think if we do end up getting a nonhuman character, they will end up being either a Lizardman (probably a cute skink) or a Tomb King servant that got sent to the empire for some reason.

I can actually see a Tomb King character and Kruber getting along, considering the Kangz and Khalida especially fucking hate the guts of the vampires and other undead

Well, Battle Wizard is kinda rough until you get used to it, but embrace the fact that you exist to shit ranged damage on stuff. The major downside to BW is that your melee becomes shittier the more overcharge you have. To counter this, I would advise grabbing a dagger as soon as possible, since it's attack speed is hardly effected by your overcharge. For staff, I will swear by the Flamestorm staff, though the vast majority of people prefer Fireball or Beam, since they work better against armored targets, and are less likely to toast your teammates on difficulties above Veteran.
Once you get to Pyro, it's smooth sailing in general, and every trait from there on just makes it better. I'm not at home so I can't check exactly what traits I use, but the important ones to grab are health on kill, and clear overcharge on skill use. I stick with the dagger for pyromancer, and if you build her right you can pretty much use your staff forever, so basically hit up the talents that lean in that direction. I tend to hang towards the back of the group and cover the back during hordes using the flamestorm staff, and push foreward if we need to keep moving during one. I'm generally playing with one or two friends, so my playstyle is effected by that. If you're using the fireball or beamstaff, you probably want to focus more on sniping, though the alt-fires on both are still very good at crowd control and horde-clearing. Once you have the talent that gives health on kills, don't be afraid to use your temp health to vent your overcharge as needed to keep burning things.
I am shit at Unchained and haven't played it that much yet, but from what I understand you burn things until you have high overcharge, then dive into melee and block a ton to drain your overcharge, and only use your ability in emergencies to drop overcharge, and be aware, it will probably kill your teammates on Champion and Legend.

>this many shields on an axe

Attached: file.png (1891x846, 3.18M)

Probably because the carteins are known in the lore for fighting against, and at times with the "good guy" factions so it would make sense that the character be from that family. Still obviously not a class though.

Because in the end times the vampires fought along side the forces of order like the empire, elves, dwarves, etc. Granted they also betrayed them but what's new?

Wouldn't any Halfling almost automatically be garbage and a liability in the game, though?

>Granted they also betrayed them
Yes but the Vampire counts, much like the empire, are not a cohesive unit and many vampires have their own aspirations that differ from the greater families.

Dwarfs have huge grudges against Vampires, not kings. The High Elves actually have diplomatic relations with them, and consider them to be somewhat higher than Vampires at least which they view as basically automations that need to be put down. There are also factions within the Tomb Kings that want to genocide the vampires, and everyone who is not Arkhan dislikes them at the least.

>Tomb King drinks health potion
>Tomb King uses health packs
>Tomb King drinks potions
I mean, it would be hilarious, but makes zero sense

Holy fuck stop suggesting shit like orc, ogre or undead hero, just fucking stop.

Attached: received_1111848378957378.gif (245x245, 973K)

Did they lock out certain hero types with this 3 profession gimmick?

Attached: 1490050697723.jpg (736x796, 246K)

Bretonnians don't seem to have any niches that aren't already filled. We have foot knights, flagellants, and even the huntsmen. Unless they did a damsel, which would be pretty interesting. Lore of Life, Lore of Heavens, Lore of Beasts?

Attached: Grail_damsel.png (352x437, 376K)

This, we need a scaven or chaos warlord.

troll hero when?

>health potion
>the magical liquid within works to repair shattered bones and renew the magic holding the tomb king together
>health packs
>literally binding yourself so you don't fall apart
>potions
>magical liquid that gives bonuses
I don't see how it automatically doesn't work.

For fuck's sake vampire families aren't class, you are in one and stay in it. The original 6 created all by themselves every vampire in the world, period
And fatshark said multiple times they care a lot about the lore, so most reasonnable option would be

There are halfling warriors. They're pretty rare and never leave the Moot but they exist. On a couple occasions they've even been used in relative number by the Imperial army.

Why the fuck is no one talking about an Amber Wizard druid hero?

Would be a great analogue to be introduced along side beastmen if they ever do a third fac

Attached: drood.jpg (300x519, 81K)

Should've added "pic related between the two links
And a tomb king make as much sense as a saurus. They're so far away the empire isn't even aware of their existence

Seriously. A vampire can't switch between different bloodlines/be from different bloodlines depending on how their life goes. A vampire is one bloodline and that's it.

A Damsel would be pretty cool, though for Bretonnia we could see a peasant, which could give us a spear/shield user as a tanky class, archer with access to longbows, fire arrows, etc, and a Battle Pilgrim, favoring shields and maces, swords, etc. Spearman would probably have a defensive based ability, archer an attack, probably a straight line high damage penetrating attack, and Battle Pilgrim an buff, like Merc Kruber and WHC Saltz.

Next Tuesday

The spells man, pyromancer was easy, but creating some new ones when the lore is all about buffing heroes it get hard to balance

>repeat my post
What did he mean by this ?

>they're so far away the empire isn't even aware of their existence
wat

Several armies of Tomb Kings have actually invaded the empire for different reasons at different times, and in the Lustria/jungles to the south of the old one empire explorers have been bringing back knowledge about the lizardmen for hundreds of years now

Attached: closer.png (368x469, 236K)

Rather than talk about race, I think the niche in their play style would be.
How would an Orc not just be an alt Kruber?

What unique classes could be added?

Anyone gotten reds under 30 yet?

Attached: batter up.webm (1280x720, 2.12M)

Im over hl300 why the fuck am I still getting beardling weapons

Attached: 546543.jpg (500x345, 24K)

'is choppas would be choppier

How do 2 people lose to 4 of the easiest elites in the game?

It's pretty clear for how the guy taking the .webm died that there was something fucky/laggy going on

Can't he just shoot bees or something? Or a swarm of rats to fight the other rats.
