Well yeah, this either means the girls were already like 16 or so, so them getting a couple years older doesn't make a difference (Akyuu was 10 in her own debut, which was only a year before MoF so it'd make sense if she got visibly older after 4 years or so) or because of a mystical force like perspective the girls don't seem to have aged at all.
Evan Reed
Oh, and you're forgetting that time passes by in Gensokyo like it does in the normal world. So yeah, Akyuu is like 24 now and will (hopefully) die in 6 years.
Henry Price
I doubt we’ll even make it to 1000

No you absolute imbecile, its a red string of fate, You fucking retard. Mongrel. Fucking braindead piece of poop fuck
Well, I do believe that, but I play on the most absolute minimal number of years for the sake of argumentativeness. If I recall I calculated EoSD to modern day being at least 7, most likely 8 years if incidents aren't annually. If they are and each work's release corresponds to time passed in the world, then it's really easy. It's been 16 years since EoSD and 12 years since Akyuu debuted, meaning she's 22.

If ZUN agrees on an official mobage it'll happen in less than half a year.
Is there any reason why I should not start with IN as my first 2hu game? I heard it's one of the easiest, but I don't see it recommended as a first game in any guide
I mean any game is okay to start with, few exceptions apply. IN is a fine game to start with, though PCB with Sakuya A or DDC with Sakuya A are the easiest windows games to 1cc with from my experience.
nah, it's fine. for that matter, you can start anywhere. eosd gets recommended because it's the first windows game; pcb is great because it looks nicer and feels more like the following games (and has a super-satisfying ending to the final boss); and mof is good too because it's relatively easy and is basically the start of windows toho 2.0. in probably doesn't get recommended as often as a first game because you can't fully ignore its gimmick. start anywhere. it's more important to play what interests you because they're all good enough.
Robert Campbell
>start anywhere. it's more important to play what interests you because they're all good enough. Yup, even the worst 2hu game is still a good game.
This is not a Bug. This is a Cult God with nefarious plans.

Remember Medicine, a "discarded" doll was born there.

That's pretty dark desu

Not sure about the "nefarious plan", but she is indeed based out of a god of a cult born from social unrest, and seems to be an enemy of Okina.

You remember Mayohiga? From PCB Stage 2? Well, it's an abandoned village that is now inhabited by cats. My question is, why was it abandoned in the first place? Do you think the residents of the village were all killed by youkais? Or perhaps forced to move to the human village?
Joseph Torres
platinaaaaa!!!
Charles Mitchell
I'd sacrifice this thread 1000 times over to avoid that fate.
I know a good touhou mobile game called touhou gensyo clicker p great game
Parker Cooper
Hmm, well it's probably not too hostile as the only inhabitant who attacks you is Chen and she's not the worst person you can face.
Perhaps it was just too annoying for the villagers I'd say it was abandoned because cats were migrating extremely fast in in large numbers to the point where it would've been better to just move than to stay there, since the cats were just taking up space, shitting all over the place, taking food and generally being a nuisance like cockroaches.
i wonder if zun uses keine as a metaphor for alcohol when he writes. eating history, eating brain cells... could explain shifts in canon.

strawpoll.me/15272459 Strange, you and MokouAnon are the only ones that aren’t in the poll. I wonder who’s this mysterious fucker is.
Jason Perez
What if 2hu is about his addicition to booze?
Jordan Green
Google says mayohiga is an abandoned farm estate from a Japanese folk tale. Lost travelers that stumble upon it and enter will find food and tea ready for them and when they leave they receive good luck. Given that it's abandoned in the original tale, it wouldn't be much of a reference if it weren't abandoned in Touhou. That doesn't mean the village in Gensokyo has to have always been abandoned, though. Touhou alters plenty of details like that. Mayohiga is supposedly part of the hakurei barrier and that barrier shit makes no sense to me so I'll just assume Yukari somehow convinced the humans living there to leave.
Brody Hill
Maybe Rumiafag. >MokouAnon At least I'm there as Ichirinfag
Daniel Garcia
Thats because i only actually showed myself as a youmufag last thread.
Most of the time, i'm just arguing or saying something about sakuya anons playthroughs.
>Maybe Rumiafag. As if I'd act like such a faggot in the first place, I usually just lurk nowadays since I'm too busy with Shard of Dreams when I have spare time.
we're enablers D: i knew i shouldn't have bought those games

>marisafag #147 Are half of these just the boogeymen of a paranoid person?
Alexander Nguyen
The whole thing is someone who cares too much about what people post and made a straw poll about it.
Michael Richardson
Thanks for the explanation. I like how ZUN places a lot of care on the little details of the folklore to enhance the setting. >Mayohiga is supposedly part of the hakurei barrier and that barrier shit makes no sense to me Maybe it's like the Hakurei shrine, as in it exists both in the outside world and in Gensokyo. >As if I'd act like such a faggot in the first place To me, everyone acts like faggots desu.
Nicholas Robinson
I thought you are Eikifag?
Jayden Jenkins
ScoreAnon isn’t in the strawpoll as well
Kevin Fisher
Dainon either. Though I suspect they may be a collective, rather than an individual.
Gavin Adams
DaiAnon is Eikifag
Kevin Gray
Sakuya was harder than Remi desu. If only because she killed Remi without trouble. I'm still leaning on that crutch called Ran and loving her for it, but it sounds like the upcoming Kappas might be water-based and put me at a disadvantage there. It should be interesting.
Maybe I'll find a new puppet soon to replace Yorihime with, both to appease that one user and because she just feels sort of ... generic ... at the moment. Or maybe I just need better skill cards.
Say, you become a big nig within gensokyo. Youve become more than just "literally who" status to reimu. Youve a achieved a power greater or equal to a stage 1-4 boss. What do you do, where, how and why do you do it? >and who do you do
>what do you do Break down the barrier. >where The shrine, of course. >how With the power of the cock. >why Can't become big without doing big things. >who Reimu
Kayden Hall
What makes you say that?
Nathaniel Wilson
He said it

>can't answer because of inferior american telecommunications infrastructure Kill me.
It says Mayohiga is only inside the barrier. In fact, it says the barrier is just the Hakurei shrine and Mayohiga. The shrine is visible outside and inside the barrier and Mayohiga is some sort of twisted space that surrounds Gensokyo and anyone who manages to wander in finds themselves there.
Henry Nelson
Speed Yorihime is an absolute monster if used correctly. excellent move coverage and sniper means that most if not all attacks are one hit kills.
Mason Jenkins
Poor plan. You want a strong 2hu first and foremost, so your army of weaklings isn't decimated by one protag once they notice what's up. I recommend one of said protags, like Reimu or Marisa, just to keep them out of your hair while you amass your army of sex soldiers. That's generally how I play EratohoK.
Alexander Price
Speed Yorihime is pretty generic, yeah. She just goes fast and hits things hard, and she's made of paper. If you're heading for Youkai Mountain you could try grabbing Iku, she's a bit more nuanced. Or if you can hold off until you get to Moriya Shrine, Power Sanae can be pretty neat. Oh, and Suwako and Komachi can both get Moody, so depending on how much you've been liking Kosuzu they might be options.
Easton Gomez
Source material? Saucenao doesn't pull up anything
I'll probably try and aim for some sort of immortality. Maybe see if i can establish contact with my family in the outside world. And then spend most of my time wandering around, trying to rescue various outsiders from becoming youkai food. Until i've achieved a greater level of power, it's the most noble thing i can think of doing.
Joshua Perez
I'm a Taoist sympathizer. But i do think Byakuren has the least genocidal solution to the Youkai problem. And Kanako is doing a lot of good.
William Allen
Non-genocide is not a solution
Dylan Turner
What is your solution then? Kill all the youkai?
Jason Myers
Please nerf Reimu

Come on, the humans of Gensokyo are incredibly dumb. They're not worth the saving.

Anyone downloaded that TouhouVS from some threads ago? is there a way to go some sort of other settings other than some audio sliders?
