I managed to kill a Teostra in 3.5 minutes today.
It was the first time I ever even went under 4 minutes. I was so happy. I used a Bow, by the way.
I don't know if I'll ever reach the speedrunner times of like 1.5 minutes (partly because I don't have the Mighty Bow gem), but I feel accomplished already.

I love the hammer but I can't play it for shit in multiplayer.
I spend half the time chasing the fucking monster around. When I finally get a hit in, I'll usually get smashed by an attack so I have to go and heal.
When the monster is down, I can barely get 2 big bang hits off with all the DS/LS wildly flailing their dongs around. Even if there are no DS/LS around, I'll just be totally out of position to get any good hits in before the monster gets up.

200 hours in and I finally picked up the CB and started to learn it in earnest. I think I have the hang of it now, at least enough to land some SAED and not get knocked around every five seconds.
Feels good to wield the most aethestically pleasing weapon in the game man, it's like I'm part of an elite
Hammer won't have good KO values until the next major update so just run a part breaking set until then.
Flinch Free 3 or Rocksteady Mantle + Tool Specialist 3 are your options to not get wrecked in pvp. Or better yet just play solo because 60% of players can't deal with elders.
Ok so i have 2 hero lance stones and 6 lance warrior stones, the game is trying to tell me something. I also have a guard up deco. I like to build min max sets for quick t3 farming, anybody miss sharing their lance builds? Im guessings loves sorrow and Babel spear are the best, but the thunder piercer looks cool too, wouldn't mind doing an elemental build
How does part breaker work exactly? Does it just flat increase your damage on any part that can be broken or does it just make the part break off without taking as much damage?
Guard 3 if you feel you need it, otherwise pure offense like every other weapon. Odo and Babel are popular raw lances. Kirin, Rathalos and Legiana are good elemental lances.

I've killed 85 tempered Vaal and still no hero lance stones. At this rate I'll never get healing on my babel spear.
40 tempered vaals 20 tempered niggergante 20 tempered teos got two hero stones of every kind except axe and bowgun which just wont drop for me they do however tend to drop in clusters or maybe im imagining it

I finished the game with Bow with a Dash spam build but after killing xeno I made builds for every blademaster and never played Bow again, so you are almost right.

helps that I know their moves now as well, but there is just something so erection inducing about using wild swings on a downed enemy and morphing into sword mode for the big hit just before they get up.

Well that was a fun 300 hour time sink. Not sure what to do with a PS4 now. Doubt I'd make my money back returning it and im better off holding onto for jho and April event. Maybe I should put it in the living room for YouTube/Netflix for when friends are over. What do you guys use the PS4 for? I already plat BB, so not much else this console has going for it gamewise for me.

Dunno about your tastes, but here are the ones I bought on PS4 that got me tons of mileage (100 hours each minimum)

I'm also at 200 hours for Tekken 7 so far. Not even competitive. Just love picking it up like for an hour every other day to play treasure battle and juggle the CPU to death.
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is also pretty good, though I doubt you can get 100 hours out of it.

Ratchet and Clank is one of the free PS+ games this month, so you could check that out without having to commit anything to it. Persona is pretty good. Maybe Uncharted whatever if you're into that kind of thing.
