This new rush meta seems to have it happening a lot more now. Matches go on a lot longer because more people are choosing to anchor and then the last 30 seconds hit and people seem to stop thinking about traps as much.

Not going to happen until mid season reinforcements at least. Probably at least going to see Vigil become immune to lions drone. I expect they may also tweak either the warning time, number of uses or cooldown as well.
Finka doesn't seem like she needs much of a nerf, so probably just some generic gun tweaks.
Ubisoft do seem to have a lower priority on making sure new operators are perfectly balanced.. suspect the priorities are:
>design abilities
>get balanced *enough* to not ruin the game immediately
>finish balancing after release
>enjoy the fact some people will be tempted to use real money to unlock new OP ops sooner.

the rush meta was cemented on the second day of the TTS and yet it made it to live.
More toxic than CSGO after a few successful e-sports tournaments which brought much more bigger audience to the game than it had 1.5-2 years ago. And because of that atmosphere when everyone now is a wanabee pro-player (even in casual) and considering that the game itself very hard to learn for newcomers (unlike CSGO) makes levels of toxicity very high.

In all seriousness (my opinion, of course) it's just bad and an unwelcome addiiton to Siege.
It's like they tried to implement L4D into Siege, but they half assed. It feels uninspired, not well thought out, and (coming from the normal gameplay of Siege) entirely out of place.
And on top of all that, it's boring.

Pretty sure the rush meta was intended. Can't remember where but I heard one of the devs say they wanted to bring the game back to the nature of 5 defenders camping with the attackers all trying for one quick push like it was when the game first launched.
Now that teams tend to have 3-4 anchors and 1 roamer in my experience it looks like the new ops have had the intended effect.
I'm ok with that aspect of them.
