Id recommend you try and find a red shirt somewhere. Zmola had one if i remember right. You can steal it off of him quazi-legally by fighting and killing him in self defence and then looting him while nobody is watching.
Also, maybe you should try a traiders turban thingy.

Personally I prefer fighting with a shield, and I use a hood or tabard just to add some color to a full suit of armor. Also I believe the beaky Hounskull provides slightly better protection.

zmola has a green shirt I swapped to the black fancy shirt with black hose instead of the green doublet and yellow/white hose and it looks a bit better

Considering how often this game is going to get patched, I'd rather not mod the game right now. I'll probably install the no slowmo mod since it's just another line in the user.cfg.
I'd need to spice things up with mods. Maybe something that makes the combat more challenging/satisfying.

Just to quench my murderboner i tried fighting a random wayfarer today. A guy wearing nothingbut cloth. I stabbed him in the back like 5 times before he even noticed me, after which he ran for it and so i started attacking him from horse back and even then it took like 3 to 4 swings till he died. My strength is maximum.

Damn you're right. I hope they don't touch that file every patch since it's pretty nice.
Go find that unlocker + user.cfg fix for the broken random encounters if you started 1.2.5. However, with that fix you'll encounter something on every encounter location.
Hey /kcdg/, I have a question. Has this game been fixed now? Would you recommend me to wait longer for more patches to come out or to get the game now? I'm not a fan of buggy games especially when it's supposed to be realistic, so that's why I'm asking.

Is anybody else seeing literal piles of halberds in Rattay? The guards created a barrier near the rear gate and fortify their armory with their unmanned phalanx whenever i spend any time in Rattay.
