Well anyone can SAY anything, but the vote user's word checks out because I was watching the poll the whole time and everything seemed rather consistant until the Mighty spamming.
Google actually locks out the number of accounts you can make for most people, so the Mighty guy probably had some workaround. Regardless, user said he'd have better duplication protection next time so that's good.

this general is for any and all Sonic related content. The Sonic franchise is primarily a video game, hence it's presence in Veeky Forums, but the Sonic franchise has roots in all sorts of media. There is several canons.

It has some, but most of the Classicfags in /sthg/ don't care about "muh green eyes," or anything like that.

Truth be told, the Sonic series has so many branches & there's so many variations of Sonic fans, it's nearly impossible to label one as just a "Classicfag," or a "Adventurefag," or an "Archiefag," because chances are, those people might like at least one thing in this franchise that's not Classic, or Adventure, or Archie, etc.

Sonic and Shadow both don't use the full extent of their power. The difference is, Sonic's too laid back to fight at full strength on a regular basis, and Shadow's too on edge to relax and hold back on his own in battle, so Shadow needs limiters to do the job for him or else he'll suffer repercussions, while Sonic has no need for them. Sonic can use much higher levels of speed and power than what we normally see, and this is proven in Sonic Battle.

Yes, it does say that. But consider the following...

Sonic is a very calm, cool, chill guy who, although he loves adventure and excitement, is very laid-back and relaxed in his free spirited wind-like nature. Shadow, on the other hand, is always on edge and ready to fight and will achieve his goals by any means necessary.

Shadow may move at a higher speed than Sonic in the game, but in Sonic Battle Sonic only moves at a light job while Shadow is in a full dash like he'd be in any other Sonic game. Shadow is intensely focused on the battle, while Sonic is just having fun.

Then at the very end of the game, Sonic has to fight Ultimate Emerl. Who truly has ultimate power and is supposedly superior to Sonic in every way. In less than half a minute. And he did, like it was nothing.

Sonic isn't the type to 'hold back'. Sonic is very relaxed and chill in nature, so the amount of effort he will put into things is not gonna be maximum like Shadow would put in. Sonic may be capable of moving faster than the speed of light, maybe even transcending the very concept of speed and thus enter a brand new definition of acceleration and kinetics. But he's only gonna push himself up to supersonic speeds and only occasionally dip into light speeds.

There's nothing wrong with being like Tails. I'm like Tails, and I have accepted that as a fact since I was a kid. So what if being like Tails means I have low self esteem and thus prone to confidence issues? So what if being like Tails means I cling close to and am overly dependent on my best friends, and thus can barely function on my own without thinking about what they would do? Being like Tails is a good thing!

I liked the adventure style a lot as well but I've started to become negative towards it. I sometimes think it did more harm than good, for the quality of the games as well as the reputation of the series itself.

I'd also consider myself closest to Tails but I bounce between the Somewhat self confident Adventure Tails and the Modern can't do anything right Tails. But thats why I identify with him. Confidence has never been my strong suit and I've always been surrounded by far more competent and capable people than me and all I really want is to be able to contribute in some small way to whats going on around us and not be a liability to the group. Is it a bad thing to feel like this? So long as I use it to better myself no. Now if I go off an a pity party when things go wrong and everyone else has to pick up my slack then by all means I need to pick a better character to identify with.
