Michalis can do some enemy phase stuff better and his ignis bombs can pretty much oneshot anything besides super tanky reds but generally Chereche's more useful

Reaver weapons probably won't ever happen in heroes because it complicates the play by colors system they have, but what about weapons that literally change your color. They just add a blue sword icon etc. and anyone with that weapon equipped shows that instead.
They wouldn't have the extra benefits of other weapons so in most cases units would be better off in their own color but it would open some interesting possibilities. Like if you just really wanted to put a character on a certain team but it wrecks the color balance, or you want to make a whole team out of one unit for memes.
Could also have an A skill to do the same.
