It's actually possible to justify calling XIV a mediocre MMO compared to most other MMOs, as long as your attention is directed towards only a few areas of XIV. If your attention is towards its combat, it's mediocre compared to a great number of other MMOs. It's the greatest irony behind people defending Eureka, when they could have been given Eureka in a F2P game where the combat would actually make it enjoyable.

Wh ydo you need to be female

Get comfortable with it. Stop letting Remorse-kun bounce you around. If you're a melee or caster/healer, Arm's Length or Surecast Remorse's cast. If you're a PLD you can Tempered Will it. If you're a WAR, DRK or physical ranged, hang out at the ghost box so that Remorse knocks you into it. If you're WAR you can even just move closer to Remorse and Onslaught during the knockback, same for DRK and Plunge. It's easy, you're just intimidated

it makes sense in alex and omega since those are the raids and the floors are 1 to 12
