Other than that I just drew a whole lot of digimon fanart and since I like the series style so much I eventually incorporated some of its style into my own without really thinking.

You need to play the wonderswan games where Ryo is the mc, the same Ryo from Tamers, he also appear in 02 in one of Ken's flashbacks with Milleniummon, is when Milleniummon put the original dark seed in Ken than is like the whole reason why 02 exist Milleniummon is born from the Machinedramon from Adventure fused with a misterious Chimeramon, at some point he fuck up the chosed children and Ryo is asked to take Agumon and the others to save the day

Basically, he is the main villain of the Ryo centric Wonderswan games which were released around the time adventure ended. He is effectively the fusion of one of the main villains of adventure and a random Chimeramon, who is mainly Ryos problem to deal with. He never really pops up in the anime due to that reason. As for the why? Well mostly because 02, the one point they could have brought him in due to his influence on the plot, was a shitshow in terms of plot. They already had like half a dozen villains who went nowhere. Also they would probably have had to bring in Ryo, which would have led to rather glaring plotholes. Basically to sum it up, Milleniummon is an important evil background force in the anime, but as a character he is a non factor for it, and is considered to be Ryos problem.

in the wonderswan games he is born from machinedramon after it was defeated by taichi's wargreymon who fused with a random kimeramon (NOT the one made by Ken) and serves as the antagonist for most of Ryo's games. One game that takes place prior to 02, Ryo recruits Ken and they fight him (creating the digimentals in the process). As Milleniummon dies this time, he shoots his essence at Ryo in the form of the dark spores attempting to infect him, but Ken takes the hit. There's a brief scene in 02 where this is shown and explaining why Ken became evil. A bunch of games later with Ryo and Milleniummon, he learns that Milleniummon was actually supposed to be his partner but he's still an evil dick and they wind up at a standstill. Ryo's monodramon fuses with Milleniummon and regresses to an egg, then Ryo goes to the Tamer universe and raises the new egg up to Cyberdramon, who becomes unruly because he's part Milleniummon.
