smn gets you a fun mobile caster that deals a fuckload of damage. You also get arguably the best raid healer in the game for F R E E.
DRG is mandatory if you have a BRD or MCH in your group due to piercing debuff as well as opener tether for them. BRD, even though I raided on it quite a bit, is quite boring and tedious to play. It's fun to an extent but once you get the hang of it it's just.. boring. Personal opinion tho.It's a bunch of RNG and can effect your dps by quite a fucking bit.

Also, if you have friends, you can definitely level it fine in dungeons. If you're going solo you should try learning SCH because that gets you into dungeons faster. Just bear in mind you do want to get acquainted with all the SMN skills as you get them. You use them all.

How do I start getting pumped in public by random pumpers?

Every double Flare and triplecasted Fire IV was a battle of prayers when Diversion and Lucid were both on CD. I even managed to pull threat with a Blizzard IV before I even started AoEing. Healer was alright and at least used Holy, but the DRG was the only one of the three that didn't get fettered on every phase of the second boss or get slaughtered by AoEs on the last boss.

I think I finally got the true DF catboy experience everyone talks about.

you're doing good, it gets sort of faster in a way, you get better xp from all the high level bosses

How many Proteans and Crystals do you need to fully level a weapon to it's final stage?
Try to get in there a couple times a week. The no-lifers are capping left and right, try-hards are catching up, casuals are breaking double digits. In a month finding folks to do it will probably be hard.

I'm just gonna not do relic this expansion, as much as I hate that. Eureka kills my soul every time I'm in there. I just can't bring myself to waste any more of my time in it.

That might sound ridiculous considering I'm playing an MMO already but every time I go in there I immediately want to be somewhere else. Every facet of it is anathema to my very being. Talking about it makes me unhealthily angry so I'm going to just start pretending it doesn't exist.

In my opinion no but the glamors are quite good and some of the relics look pretty good. So if that is your thing then yeah you might want to resub.

I mean, I do need one more run of Bardam's to hit 67 if you really want to help provided you're on Aether.

So here it is.
Take diadem. Take it, and remove all of the fates. All of them. Just pick them up and throw them out so the main map is empty.
Okay. Now you gotta go out and kill mobs, right? They give very little xp and are hard as fuck to kill, right? You gotta form a party.
Okay, now remember when I said get rid of the fates? Well I lied.
You have to kill 50-150 of a certain mob to spawn a fate. Cool, right? Alright. Now this fate, right? This is what gives the most xp/hr. You gotta keep doing it.
Except now they're all over the map and you gotta level up again from 1-20. Okay, so that mob that's 5 levels higher than you? Okay right, it's gonna hit you and you're gonna die. It's gonna do a hundred thousand damage.
What do you get for this you may ask? Currently ilvl 350 gear and a 350 weapon. But wait, wait, wait. Hold on.
It's got 5 slots to meld materia!
It's also your artifact armor, but can be dyed!
The weapon has a glow like a relic....wait.. You have to do this garbage to get your relic weapon.
You have to get to level 19 at least to get the feathers from a fate where the mobs only spawn during Gales and the fate boss only spawns during the night. Gold gets you enough for three feathers, which is one relic weapon!
W-Wait you thought that was all? Nope, sorry.
At least you'll get enough of this arbitrary crystal currency to get some relic weapons on your way to 19/20. :)
Which won't be enuogh to get your armor which is outdated upon release. :)

That's up for you to guess. :) As far as all of us are concerned, because this weapon has a glow and is already upgradable it IS the relic.

This is the relic. It is also the way to get dyeable AF.
That's it. The gear isn't even relevant, but the relic probably will be at the end of the 4.x cycle.

You mean the SCH and SMN weapons. Cause the rest are just glowy.

It's the best way if you get multiple - you basically have a few once you reach level 20 already, just need to do the Pazuzu NM a few times.

That's the really sad part. If Eureka was at least entertaining it would be cool but the sole fact they're going to tie every other step into Eureka, -probably- will be awful. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to increase the level cap in there without new ways to level up. Fuck, for as much as I complain i'm level 15 and still hating myself. Stockholm syndrome.
Sad but true, however the first stage is usually always garbage. HOPEFULLY they get better and are expanded upon. Hopefully.
