Nah, they're both appealing in different ways, which is why FW included them both in their army list.
Infernal Guard are supposed to be an elite warrior cult, not representative of the general Chorf population. Also, I like how they're stylised as being more uniform and ascetic than Chaos Warriors, who usually wear heavily customized and mutated armor. It makes sense given that Chorfs provide most of the weaponry and armor used by the WoC.

That always irked me with the Greenskins, black orcs feel kinda eh to use, even with Grimgor. They feel more like backline support you send in to finish things off instead of the massive frontline juggernauts they're supposed to be.
