Burst Symbol and OCB and w/e raises Crit during CAs is pretty much all you need to just speedrun bosses and Super Bosses without basically making Poppi OP.

For cores, Depends on the situation mostly. For instance, if the enemy is dodging a lot (like Jin and Chickenheart), you’ll want Night Vision/Sunlight Eye. Another example is Physical Def up if the enemy has AOE. Other good general ones are Critical and Block up and Elemental Orb Ender on at least one blades.
For accessories, Holy Neckless is fine, but increasing either is better if she has an ether cannon since it improves that as well. The rest are good but Moon Cube may be questionable compared to the others. Beta Scope is best on Tora and Nia. Overclock on whoever your controlling (I usually have it on Rex).

I have half the Torna Blades on Nia. So... I guess I'm a bastion of info on Driver Combo capabilities there. But now as I update the spreadsheet, I realize that no one has any better idea than I do of who to Overdrive those Blades to.
I don't really understand why the AI has this much trouble with driver combos, a bunch of times I've seen it using completely random arts over the correct one for seemingly no reason.

Not really mate, we do have a general idea about who's the best driver for each blade. Akhos on Zeke unless you absolutely want Topple on Nia; Obrona on Nia for Break spam; Patroka on Zeke, and once they fix her dodge art she may work on Morag too; Perdido on Zeke ('s bench); Mikhail on Morag; Cressidus on Zeke; Sever can work on both Zeke and Morag thanks to his "neutral" mod.

Is the reasoning on half of these anything beyond just the character's role, though? The only thing I meant to imply is that we (i.e. people looking at the spreadsheet) seem not to know the full range of benefits if I of all people am adding to it.
With the exception of Mikhail, the new weapons are pretty much reskins of basic weapons so there's really nothing wrong using the same criteria to judge.
Akhos, being a healing axe, COULD be good on Nia, however the animations are so garbage he ultimately ends being better on Zeke. Morag has shit axe arts so she's not even an option. Obrona works best on Nia for Break spam and this really cannot be argued about. She could work on agi tank Morag too...except half her quirks directly conflicts with tanking. Nia really has no reason using Patroka because of her low strength and shit lance arts, and Morag will only be an option once they fix the dodge art. Perdido synergizes well with Pandoria and because of his mod he can't really be used on anyone but Zeke. Mikhail is an Agi tank and Morag is the only one who can work in that role. Cressidus, being a hp tank, works best on Zeke. Morag can work too if for some reason you want to try something different, while Nia would rather not want the aggro. Sever is just a more offensively focused Cressidus, so anything about the latter applies to the former too.

It is the opposite: abuse tank blades on Rex. You can't really beat Morag with sheer bruteforce unless you have a solid crit heal build or something like that.

So there's this little railing in the center of the area where you fight Morag, I think it may be in front of you and to the left a little bit when the fight starts. If you just hop over it and get out of her range, she'll run against the railing the entire time, so just equip a ranged Blade and pummel her. And if she gets close to figuring out how to run around it, you just move to the opposite end of the side you're on.

Morag is the only one who should give you trouble because of dodge. Do specials. When you start a Blade combo, you get a bit of damage. Also, make sure you are using pouch items.

On Ahkos, he’s still good on Nia if used correctly. The arts are physical but his specials (I believe) are ether. He also gives a huge ether mod which is still better on Nia. And it gives her topple without Axes. So if paired with a cannon and another healer, he can work very well on Nia. Also gives her Electric which can be hard to work with without Vess (who is eh) or Kora (who is fine but is more niche compared to other Knuckles)
Keep in mind that even though they are both Axes, the class will change depending on the type of blade. Attack blades boost damage, so having Ahkos over another Axe means you give that up. Zeke also already has an electric blade so it would be redundant unless you are building him for cannons. I think either of those characters work, but it’s goinv to vary based on how you are using your team.
