am i the only one who thinks they ruined raiding with catch-up mechanics? In TBC you had to run the kara/gruul->TK/SSC->BT/MH gauntlet as a form of progression, and every new guild had to start at tier 4 and work their way up, at least until IQD was launched

now it just seems like every time a new tier of raiding comes out all the old ones become instantly obsolete.

>unlocked 1 month after Normal/Heroic
>you are guaranteed 3 random inferior loots the first time you do it
>no other loots ever from this mode on this character
>bosses are redesigned to become tutorials to explain the mechanics to new players
-Normal and Heroic are merged
>unlocked right after patch
>increasingly scaling difficulty (first bosses are loot pinatas with minimal mechanics, last bosses are hard even for seasoned players)
>every bosses drop X amount of loot depending on the number of raiders
>can only loot each boss once per account per week, no more alt fiestas to gear up the mains
-Mythic
>require the absolute best players on each realm to even go past the first bosses
>no raid tag IDs, top guilds on each server must converge and form the best lineup to clear the content
>remove titanforging, gem slots and similar shit, etc
>X number of loot can be handpicked at will after boss dies, no more awful RNG preventing progress
>all bosses have a fixed number of attempts before the raid is locked out for the week to prevent mindless tryharding
