bandit and jager are pretty much the same for that, just place-and-forget gadgets, except Bandit's batteries are probably more important vs an actual team composition
if needs be bandit can sometimes anchor and manage their batteries more meaningfully to catch breacher gadgets and avoid anti-gadget stuff

It doesn't make sense for lasers to work differently just for shotguns. Put in a choke attachment for tighter blast patterns (most shotguns don't have muzzle attachments anyway), and have lasers on shotguns work like they do for every other gun, increasing accuracy between hipfire shots.

that's not how they work though
lasers tighten the hipfire cone, period
on shotguns this coincidentally results in a tighter spread pattern and less destruction because the destruction radii of each pellet are less spread out over the wall
