From my experience Taimanin is mostly pure rape fantasy and you're basically following the story from the girls' perspective. This is fine, especially considering the fetishes they throw at you, at least it feels justified, and you can just laugh at the dude's misfortune. But then of course you get pure garbage like Yukikaze 2, with 80% of the dialogue is wasted on typical NTR tropes while the scenes are in fact boring vanilla pretty much.

Yukikaze is the only NTR taimanin game there is. As for the gacha, it's half NTR and the rest is just rape with characters that the MC hasn't gotten to romance (or even formally meet) or chars he doesn't know enough to care about. There's very little amounts of NTR in the gacha game. I'm talking 5% at most. The Taimanin Asagi series is not an NTR series. Yukikaze is the only real exception as a char built for that fetish.

It's actually a business model that brings games more sales. The Djbril series had rape scenes before, some of which could be considered NTR under technicality (basically anything that isn't the MC is NTR, even if it's not meant to be), but it was still a very vanilla game in it's first two games. The 3rd game is where it started giving itself a lot more NTR, thus garnering it more sales. The Mahou Shoujo genre is partly build around "the best of both worlds" business type. So long as everything is avoidable you can't really lose. You have the vanilla market your selling to and the rape+NTR market as well, without shoving away vanilla fans by making it avoidable.

Most of the time these kinds of games are either high budget and have enough scenes to satisfy the consumer or are already part of a franchise.
