I made a macro about being a tank for hire and got spammed to shit with invites to anything from normal MT to almost any HC. You literally just need to be smart and roll a druid or a paladin if you're not sure what's going on on a server. You get to 68 or so and then decide what spec you're going to play. You can tank with both. You can heal with both. You have a spot for that one of a kind per raid snowflake spec. Second best choice is mage or warlock since they are great DPS, great utility (who doesn't want summon, sheep, SS, mage table, healthstones) since you can farm most of your BIS items from tailoring. Any other class is just rolling the dice on being able to get a group, raid, guild...
