What are the unspoken rules of itch.io?

I've read their /docs/* section like the FAQ and guidelines, and it all seems pretty straightforward. I just want to know if there is anything I should know about regarding the takedown of a game I upload.
Is itch.io basically the YouTube of video games in that you can upload and host basically any game you make, or should I look to other sites?
I'm not trying to make it big or anything, I just want to make some stupid, weird little games and have a place to host them indefinitely.

hosting on my website itself is out of the question since it's a neocities website that has space and file type restrictions. i want to avoid spending money just to host my personal music, animations, and games regardless of whatever downsides there may be.
that's why i was considering using itch.io to host my games; i keep my website's size small while having a nice presentation for my games.

They're keeping the current renderer as the Default option but you can bet it'll be deprecated soon. The LW one is literal garbage that's pretty much what 4.x Free was like (forward only, gamma only, hard shadows on a single directional light only). The only good features in the HD pipeline is the clustered tile renderer but everything else is broken or no better than the Default option.
