Knowing about them hiring for their new game wasn't an announcement, someone was looking through job offers and saw it. The Western branch will not and has never announced a game before the Japanese branch. That just isn't how it works. No. Ouma's character arc, actions, motivations, or flaws did not revolve around being in love with Saihara. People cry forced hetship when them being in love or being in a relationship determines all of those things I just listed.
