It happens dude. I don't think I got a win until I hit like 80-100 hours, but I had fun. I'm at 500+ now and I think I'm at about 50% wins on average. I'm nowhere near "gud" yet but okay enough to put up a fight. You'll get there. Just make sure you regularly take stock of any universal mechanics you're not using and practice implementing them, as well as tech from better players and practicing more optimized combos.

Anyone else actually like post patch Raven better than pre patch? It's pretty fun to play passive, get a bit of excitement, than go apeshit. I'm still trying to figure out how to chain scratches.

Who are some fun characters to try?
Playing mostly Pot, picked up Raven to stand a chance against local players while i work on my terrible Pot, but Ravens pretty boring, even if he's strong

from goofing around in trials im leaning towards Kum or Millia but not sure how they'll work out when i get to actual combos/general gameplay

What kind of character ar you looking for? If you want easy characters to learn, that are less flowcharty than Raven, you should try out Sol, Sin or Elphelt.

I'm open to any sort of playstyle since i play all sorts of chartacters in other games, preferably nothing too execution heavy though, not sure if GG has an equivalent of Tekkens Mishimas in that regard though

Yeah, I picked those because they're easy execution, Elphelt being the easiest after Raven in my opinion. Jack-O is also relatively easy, but her gimmicks are very weird compared to the rest of the cast.
Hardest character executionwise are probably Zato, Johnny and Chipp.

NEET hours are pretty much the only time I want to play.

so I have a hori rap 4 and have found the buttons a bit overly sensitive, as in they easily register unintentional presses. I also wish they had a more tactile feedback when you press them.

Why did they change Slayers voice actor from Sign to Revelator?
I was kinda suprised when I heard him in Sign story, he sounds much less dandy in this one.

I'd say they're pretty similar. Both big damage lolis with animal summons for oki. Rachel's buttons are a bit worse in general though so she relies more on her tricky wind stuff for neutral. May's neutral is more basic.
