Gummycraft failed because Gummy faked getting a DCMA hours after launch, only to backpedal and claim he never expected the server to blow up and get such a huge population (even though his YouTube videos, which he deleted, showed how much hype was going into Burning Crusade) and that it "couldn't handle the stress". There's absolutely no reason to trust him; Felmyst was his third strike, as he had previously pulled the plug unceremoniously on two previous projects before killing Gummycraft at launch.

They will either have to roll Horde and play a non-tranny faction, which hurts their ERP, or they will roll Alliance anyways and be by themselves, in which case they're better off on their Discord and on Gummy's for their circlejerk.
