It's not a big deal if you're not a tryhard. While being able to start dash core characters and getting lots of rolls helps, there's so much free shit and the game's so unbelievably casualized now that it's whatever. Your grid is what matters, and by the time you have grids, you'll get characters even if only from farming gw characters which were for this express purpose
