He spent a good 10 years being bullied and then abused/pinched by Saeko who is probably on par with Makoto and takes repeated hits from Tsujidou and Maki with no major wounds to show for it. Also he overpowers Maki in his sleep.

Even in Renna's he says he is not a pacifist but that he does not like hitting people. I agree that he is being a total fag in Ai's route, but I think that also has to do with her occasional whining about delinquency.
Violence in underrated but don't whine because someone who does not like violence is man enough to follow through and deal with the consequences.(at least in the good routes)

So after finally finishing the common route myself, I personally didn't like it at all.
I've always given C;H a special place in my memories because it was that one psychological mystery game that managed to be pretty spooky and deadly serious without actually having to kill anyone in the main cast so seeing C;C treat the cast like that was awfully disappointing. I could have maybe taken a one or two NORMAL deaths but the part where they end up killing one of the main cast people in the most horrible and gory way possible is where they went way too far with it for me and where my enjoyment was replaced with tangible disappointment. The fact that Serika ended up being a way worse Rimi just made everything absolutely worse for me. I think I might have it in me to power through the other routes but the one hope I have for this game is that the true end is at least more like the true end of C;H and less of whatever this was.
Its been a pretty long while since I've posted my thoughts on a route or a VN in this thread but I've got no one else to talk about this and I felt the urge to summarize my thoughts to no one in particular.
