This game is a joke because of how badly it limits itself. You can't do anything to stop your opponent from nut busting you from hand. Wards are a joke. Give a bunch of new wards "cannot be destroyed by card effects" or "ignores bane" and maybe the game can come back but even that just makes forest T1 because lol elephant.

The archetypes pf MtG and Shadowverse don;t really lie up though. Shadowverse is all about being reactive rather than proactive. Targeted discard would just make people move towards more linear strategies that can't be easily disrupted.

I got my only 5-0 on the very last round. All matches were tight as shit (non-bricked Daria, Midshadow going first, perfect curve NForest, and a Ramp Dragon I won against by deckout) except for a beautiful motherfucker playing Eidolon, but I seriously hope this doesn't mean that I exhausted my luck for the Sudden Death round.
Yggdrasil is solid but I wouldn't say she's top tier. Most of the time she's going to be a 7pp 3/6 rush bane, which can be decent in slower forest decks but isn't really all that incredible.

Also Ginger. -Dragon gets 10 storm ignore ward that can be comboed with Wyrm God - Shadow gets to spam Zeus turn after turn - Blood gets even more vengeance tools - Portal Gets Orchis
And what gets Haven? 2 new halve baked archetypes and an 8pp Durandal. I have no hope in the last haven leggo, it would need to be Orchis levels of broken to carry the class and even with that no tribunal and Ancient Lion hurt a lot. We are even losing the Frog and Pegasus Sculpture which could have been good in new Tenko but nah.

Playing against portal is so fucking weird. They way cards are flying everywhere on their turn and not doing anything makes me feel like I'm playing against d-shift, but nothing ever happens. The big one-shot turn never comes, and they just die to my burn.
