Good for AA typically means that they can counter a specific type of unit very well with little investment, usually a type of unit that is common in AA. Tobin is one I can think of who is good for AA because he can handle green armours very well without many skills.

Yes, yes, but if your core team is, say, Brave Ike, Lukas and the new Bunny Kagero you're much better off rounding out the team with Tharja than Legendary Ike, by virtue of having the option of magic.

That usually just means they're usable. You need a bunch of units for arena assault, so even a generally outclassed unit can be worth using.

basically just any unit you can cheaply build to fill a certain niche and just pop them in your AA team whenever you need that niche filled
some examples are 4* units with gem weapons, they're good for AA because if the enemy team has a red heavy lineup you just slap subaki down and boom you win

But she can attack 4 times for 28 extra damage due to chill res? Is that really not good enough?
