It also hits really high so Jo's height isn't an issue, and to be desu Defense and Attack boosts are way more important than anything else you can play besides negating wind pressure against Kushala or negating Vaal efluvia with Teo's guitar.

Healing is better suited to sword and shield wielders using wide range. HH is suited to buffing defense/attack/earplugs etc.

With HH you want to use your most useful songs such as attack up and defense up and then spend the rest of the time maximizing damage output which does not entail playing songs.
So what move does everyone keep saying Jho one shots you with? I’ve seen people saying they have 470 defense and his hip check one shots them, but I’ve also seen people playing HBG (less physical defense) saying that it only takes them to half HP. So which move is the big killer?

Please don’t misinform, thanks. Max damage output on HH is actually by playing recitals and encores, the most damaging of which is the back-tilt encore. I’m not saying that healing songs are good on HH, but you saying that optimal damage doesn’t entail songs is blatantly false.

They are a DPS suck. The only problem I see in his advice is it may not quite account for the new song queuing method, but he's right that no T/A demonstrating maximizing damage would for any reason do that.

WTF are you even talking about? I played hundreds of hours of HH in MH4U.
You outpace that damage by doing basic attacks in repetition. At least that was the case in MH4U. I admit things may have changed since then. I wouldn't know.

I completed one of the new Nergigante arena quests and didn't get anything special in the rewards; just your usual mix of Hunter King Coins and lifepowders, etc. Has anyone got anything unique from it? Am I missing something?
Despite the shitposting, this is still basically the case. Your highest DPS can't be infinite recitals, that's just obvious. Backward attack is good as ever for small windows and measured right swing spam (without triggering the weak double twirl) is the best hook. Most HH "combos" are on even footing.
"spamming", maybe if you paid more attention you'd realize it's still just basically spaced out enough to keep songs from dropping off. The queue and new recital only changes things a little. Also as is tradition, there are very, very few well recorded runs for this weapon.
