Even though it's a shitty game balance, it's realism to be honest. T-64s/T-72s would fucking wreck anything NATO fielded in 70s. M60s, Chieftains, AMX-30s, M48s...Soviets were simply ahead at that time, and they were ahead from early 50s till late 80s. Any conflict between WP and NATO in that period, if we magically exclude nukes, would end up with rape of Western forces. Of course, they should balance things out somehow to make the game more fun, but it's not ''RUSSSIAN BIAS)))))))", it's reality. Cold War Soviet designs were a lot better until M1/Challenger/Leopard 2 came along. And even then, later versions of Soviet tanks weren't far behind.

This game is just fucking ruined for me. All I fucking want is WWII only RBs. No fucking post war tanks, for fucks sake. There needs to be a game mode for this. I want to play Germans and Soviets on Eastern European Maps. I want to play Germans and Britbongs and Burgers on West European and North African maps. Japs and Americans on Jungle would be cool too.
This shit is becoming so stale, seeing post war tanks fighting Shermans, T-34s, Tigers, Panthers... I was able to look past it for so long, but now this shit is just getting tiresome.

I'm not focusing just on that, rather the fact that Soviets had massive advantage in numbers, as well as technical characteristics of many weapon systems. Again, Soviets had THOUSANDS of T-64s and T-72s in late 70s, on top of tens of thousands of T-55s and T-62s and what else. If you're referring to air power, while Soviets weren't ahead in that aspect, they still had a huge and useful air force. They wouldn't rape NATO air forces, but they would certainly deny them any sort of air supremacy Western coalition had in Iraq for example.
