What are the absolute best weapons for raising defenses? I just slapped Distant Counter on Robin and Lissa and want to make everyone as tanky as possible. I was thinking maybe Berkut's or First Bite for Robin.

+10 Dagger units tend to scare me the most in the arena.

i think the exact opposite of them. they're pretty good but just so unnapealing in their art. good thing because that way i'm not tempted to spend any orbs.
it's pretty good. he plus a firesweep blyn almost killed one arena run of mine. first off it catches you offguard, second all the counters to rein are usually relatively slow magic users and third the rein i encountered reached 38spd with phantom spd and a hone cav and damaged my +10 fae for free and quite considerably.

Fury/Desp/Memebow, unironically. Fury guves her enough bulk to survive a lot of DC users after flier buffs, at which point she's safely in Desp range to continue killing stuff.

Genuine question, why spend on your orbs on Spring when they'll still be around by the time these guys come out? Even if you don't like them as characters, there's a good chance they'll have very desirable skills. There's literally no reason to spend orbs on any of the banners out right now.

If they do implement more Holy weapons, I believe they will do a trend where each weapon has a regular and a divine version. regular yewfelle held by faval maybe and a divine held by brigid.

Seasonal units are harder to get once their banners have come and gone, whereas new units will be in the summoning pool forever, not to mention they'll also show up in non legendary banners, unlike with seasonal units.

Are they really that shit though? Alfonse sure is, and Kagero is mediocre, but Catria is improved Olwen and Sharena is worse as a bladetome than Nino but has a very solid niche as a debuffer with good offense. She gets 36 res at neutral with her prf and fury, allowing her to run spd/def ploy alongside her chill tome, and that's actually pretty neat.

Do you want them because you enjoy them as units or characters?

Being in the rotation at all is still a better fate than being stuck on triple focus banners forever, and showing up maybe once every six months on them if you're even lucky. I've gotten a decent Eiricav and random Lute as pity breakers recently for instance. Seasonals don't have even that. That's also why I'll never attempt to +10 a seasonal even if it's of my absolute favorite character. I've seen enough horror stories about that crap.
