I'm curious, despite playing like the scum of the earth, every Ling player deathmatches me, even if it isn't in their favor (since I always need to warm up in that MU). I'm not complaining, but it's a weird combination, people who play like that usually quit after one.
Sure. It's not like poking is going to do you much good against Ling unless your midpoke can hit out of AoP. The reason why I need to warm up is because I have to adapt and get used to when I can go in and when I should stay out.
Dominic Ross
I just tuned in. Does the indian looking commentator even know how Tekken works?
Josiah Bennett
whoa did you see that 80% ding combo? fucking cali roll man
Levi Price
Jiyuna doesn't know either.
Austin Wright
Great. I hate vague commentary and this is some vague as fuck "ooh controlling space" tier commentary
Jin's parry anything is pretty cool, it almost makes me want to try. He's not a Mishima in the traditional sense like his Diablo counterpart though, right? He doesn't have an EWGF I'd need to learn and that fruity Mishima movement? I've always been put off playing with them because I lack the execution. Is it worth trying Jin out? As it is, I main King, pocket Noctis and I've messed with Paul and Oscar to some extent.
Andrew Thompson
Calling RD EX is a giveaway
William Hall
Christ I didn't even catch that. I think I'll just mute the stream and put some music in the background
Lincoln Torres
His EWHF is his primary whiff punisher, but he can be played without it. Just start playing him and grind the execution a few minutes a day, it'll be fine.
He has EWHF ( electric wind hook fist ). I don't know what's fruity about Mishima movement You should learn how to move, that's a necessary trait for every single character
Aiden Young
Jin is S tier and I don't give a fuck if anyone thinks otherwise
Jaxson Gonzalez
Seriously I have only played 2 matches today and my left hand is so cramped I cant play anymore
Should I get it checked out this doesnt seem normal
Hudson Walker
He really is. I think he's the only character who can literally be played using only CH and NH launchers, nothing else.
Parker Phillips
He's up there alongside leo, bryan, feng, paul and ling. SS is drag and DJ.
Jason Thomas
>Runitblack eliminates jeondding >Book eliminates jeondding hmm rly makes u think
Jeremiah Baker
Give it a break for a day or two. Might be an early sign of a repetitive strain.
Josiah Morales
Peripheral?
Kevin Reyes
I'm talking about KBD and wavedashes or whatever it is that they get up to.
I suppose I ought to try. I haven't managed an electric even once so far though. Not even by accident. Is the timing something like f, (df2)? I've been trying to input it like a shoryuken and it never seems to work. It's not possible to press all the buttons at the same time surely.
Carter Hernandez
DS4 pad
Tyler Miller
Everybody needs KBD. Learn how to move and how poking works before grinding specific moves.
When you're a beginner it's much more important to learn the game itself ( AKA things that are universal to all characters ) rather than grinding a simple thing like execution
Alexander Cooper
give the mic to someone at least half competent with the english language, fuck that was terrible
Jace Flores
Get the shoryuken input out of your system. its f, n, d, d/f. Emphasis on the neutral. Try doing other crouchdash moves consistently first, then move onto EWHF. I remember being completely unable to do the CD input after playing SF for a week, so watch out for that shit.
Jackson Howard
Give 'em a break, he did not bad. It's a Thai event, I'm surprised he spoke English at all there.
Evan Lopez
Dont call it pain, it's the controller you chose.
Adrian White
Do Forward, Down+2, down forward
Robert Taylor
I switched to stick for the sole reason of getting cramps all the fucking time. Consider getting stick or hitbox if money isn't an issue. Pad isn't for everyone.
Elijah Thompson
And to someone at least competent with the fucking game
Jace Moore
Re-recorded it to get the full thing 'cause the break.
it shouldnt quite that many months to relearn the game on a stick, and given the alternative could be potentially fucking up your hand, might be worth checking it out with a doctor and look into a stick/hitbox maybe even keyboard for a bit if a hitbox is expensive
Carter Robinson
big knee fan but it'd be dope if book won
Kayden Powell
Fair enough. I was lucky to notice that I hated pad early on so I got a stick just before t7 was out, so I was already comfy with it when it came out.
Get a hitbox if you can. I have bad pain when I play with a pad. I have both a stick and a hitbox and there wasnt really a learning curve to the hitbox, the stick on the other hand took a while to learn.
>Yellow >meanwhile I'm green doing clean backdashes and can do electrics quite reliably despite not even being a mishima player I'm the living proof that execution does not make you good.
Alexander Cook
I play fighting games!
Jordan Johnson
You could relearn the game for half a day on hitbox
Logan Reed
I know, but the guy that's commentating is also Thai and his english is better. Plus from what I've seen Thai people speak very decent english in general
>jin player ungaing in knee's face >does nothing about it what the fuck dude standing 4, press a button, backdash, do something jesus christ he's poking you to death
Lincoln Thomas
So EWHF is a screw right? But I definitely saw Book hit a EWHF mid combo (which did the 2nd screw hit animation), and still getting a regular screw in the same combo.
