This is my gathering set. I'm not missing anything, am I? Speaking of which, wasn't there some sort of skill that reduced the respawn time of gathering points like plants and bonepiles?
So I've been lancing T. Jho and I decided to try other weapons to see if I could reduce my hunt times: can someone explain to me how you don't get instantly assblasted? Not only are his attacks extremely fast and damaging they cover such an enormous area that you can dodge through them and get hit coming out the other side. Worse still is that reel-back/slam counter thing and that's instant death if you hit him with a big attack (SAED for example). Apart from the breath attack I just have no idea what to punish without getting tailspinned or stomped.

Sporepuff Expert is next to useless, as is Heat Guard, because you can just drink a Cool Drink.

At 200 raw 10% affinity is the same as 5 raw But it's better to augment for affinity first, as your crits will benefit from attack boost items

Pickled LS w/ crit element does more damage than my divine slasher. Problem is you NEED 2x warrior streamstone and a few crit eye jewel to offset the negative affinity.

Everything has been homogenized to the point where unique aspects of weapons either been gutted or no longer unique.
Guard Points - Given to LS and GS IG Polevaulting Roars - No longer as good, no point in doing anymore. Headsniping GS - Gutted, now have to play like other BM and spam optimal damage rotation Bow/LBG/HBG - Gutted, given new Third-Person Shooter playstyle.
The only weapon that feels even close to resembling monster hunter is hammer and as such it will be the only weapon I'll play
