I tried switching from keyboard and even though it's fun and the clicky noise is satisfying as fuck, I can't perform at a comfortable level in lobbies. I know it's just a matter of muscle memory, but it just doesn't feel worth it unless I can grab some friends IRL.

There's a DBFZ player that plays with an electronic keyboard from Rock Band. I'm sure no local would have seen issue with a regular keyboard.

Also I've only been playing for a few days so I still fumble the most basic shit so I feel as thoough going into a server and getting perfected every match would be a waste of my time until I can learn enough to actually start putting up a semblance of a fight.

99% of the lobbies in this general are on PC usually on the east coast of the US
If you worried about gettiong perfected do these and learn the basic system/defense mechanics to not get bulldozered

+ the Special Moves and 1-10 Basic Combos for character of choice

GGs all around, though I think I probably should have left the lobby a lot sooner. Started to get a headache, and I gotta get up early tomorrow.

according to the census up here theres at least 12 PS3/4 players in the lobby so you could always try hosting a room and posting the lobby code to see if anyone joins though it seems the last two attempts at it nobody did

Both. There's a lot you can get out of locals that you just can't replicate in netplay.
