I think the Persona 3 movies could've done what they intended if there was 5 instead of 4. The entire middle of the story was crammed into 1 movie and like 1/5th of another, and it's clear how much it suffers because of it. Then the 3rd has to drag out late-game story with a ton of filler because they would progress into the end-game otherwise.
