I used to run one of the PS4 Squads and it was dead as fuck most of the time unless I had recently removed inactives and invited a fresh wave of users. People would rather join T2/T3 Sessions and often stop playing for long periods of time because World doesn't have enough endgame to keep players ACTIVE for months at a time. I disbanded it because it felt like I was the only one who really actually cared about it. It was a good reminder that trying to organize Veeky Forums groups is thankless and somewhat futile. People are happier in the fapper room and T2/T3 sessions so that's fine by me

The only BiS Jho weapons are: HH, GS, and Lance.
Everything else is situational/based around Affinity Booster. Ignore anyone who says otherwise. Even then Jho BiS is only SLIGHTLY ahead of previous BiS. Bone Horn II, Jagras Hacker III and Elder Babel are still pretty fucking good.

Ok so first a disclaimer, I don't think Jho weapons are best in class or necessarily top-tier, Lance especially so since it has good NEB options. Still, people are constantly missing the point / niche of Jho weapons and don't even bother to work it out.
Babel ((((460 / 2.3) + 0) x 1.1) + 32) x (1 + (0.40 * (0.0 + 0.1 + 0.5 + 0.05))) x 1.2 = 381.02
Jho ((((529 / 2.3) + 0) x 1.0) + 32) x (1 + (0.40 * (-0.25 + 0.1 + 0.05 + 0.5 + 0.05))) x 1.2 = 371.00
This is babel vs Jho DPS with your build with both weapons Augmented for Affinity. Babel clearly comes out ahead but since Jho can't use NEB let's remove that and say that you've found room for 1 Handicraft gem to bring Jho at the very least into white for a while with Polish - Jho's damage now becomes this:
((((529 / 2.3) + 0) x 1.0) + 32) x (1 + (0.40 * (-0.25 + 0.1 + 0.05 + 0.5 + 0.05))) x 1.32 = 408.10
Even with its huge base Affinity deficit, 1 point in handicraft + polish allows Jho lance to dish out around 7% more DPS than your current Babel set-up while that sharpness holds.
Again, I'm not going to suggest one way or the other as there are clearly downsides to Jho weapons, but I think it's fair that we acknowledge their strengths rather than just dismiss them as a meme.

I -might- try to make MonHanGen again for G-Rank. Even if it dies after a time just like before, it's worth it. I just question the viability of keeping it alive without doing tons of work on tracking player activity and whatnot. Especially as time goes on and people lose their drive to play and whatnot.
I don't mind that they wanted to play elsewhere or whatever, it's not their fault entirely. Capcom dropped the ball too and didn't make the squad system particularly workable. If we had double the player limit and I could award certain players invite/kick privileges I think it would've been viable. The limited size and invite functions were a mistake. We could've fit ALL of /mhg/ into maybe TWO squads if they worked like I described and we could've shared the responsibilities among a few hardcore regulars.
