I can post stupid phrases too
MCH gets an ability to overcharge their next attack but it makes the turret destroy itself and there's a cooldown before you can place it again. It's primary use is for just before phase-changes where you're going to be spending 30 seconds flopping around in retard town or waiting for the boss to actually do his big "This is my big attack you won't die to because you did my mechanics now sit there and watch me cast it" attack. The Rook turret is single target so it can't be exploded just anywhere but the Bishop is an aoe turret so it aoe detonates, so you can do it literally anywhere you want for hilarity.
As for MCH's fun, it's reliant on getting to 70 for you to have all the mechanics in place so you can do what it's built for (bursting) but it's a simple but fun and rewarding job all the same. Also the job quests from 30 to 60 have some fun scenarios in it and a nice story. 60 to 70 is okay and if you liked the HW cast you get to spend some more time with them so it's kind of a win?

Your regular attacks can also cause explosions when they're in the "heated" stage which is a mechanic for MCH that is kind of irritating until they give you your goddamn tools to actually make heat do what you want which they should have given you FIRST.

Fair warning the big booms do not give you big boom damage because MCH is a support ranged dps.

When I like a character I tend to collect lots of pictures of them and Alphinaud is my favourite character in FF14. He's pretty much the best story buddy, but I'm not attracted to him, because my heart belongs to Loonh Gah and no one draws pictures of them.
