Except the worst healers are paladin and the only reason people think they are good is because they can pad numbers with mana-efficient Holy Lights. In PvE healers rank Priest > Druid > Shaman > Paladin, and Shaman only edges out Paladin because of Chain Heal.

Druids don't have mana issues because they literally have an MP5 talent which makes stacking Spirit mean something, not to mention that if shit hits the fan they can burst out heals with Nature's Swiftness and Swiftmend. Everyone knows that Regrowth isn't mana-efficient, but if shit hits the fan you can NS one out and then Swiftmend after 17 seconds for ridiculous healing. Even if you don't go full healbot you can still go 24/0/27 and be a mana-efficient healer.

So you have to bring along another class that can resurrect, so after you battle rez the tank and they die again, you can shift into Bear Form and let the paladin / priest / shaman emergency heal you to survive the fight without everyone wiping.
