It's funny because the enemy city garrison routed before they even had a chance to do anything. Their blobs of approaching troops got fucked by artillery and fire magic before they even arrived at the fighting. I think that their bows might have gotten a couple of shots off at some fighting on the flank, but that wouldn't have lasted. My Reiksguard was about two seconds from crashing into them when I took that pic.
Artillery in TW is so much fun. This reminds me a lot of armstrong guns in FotS.
>Want to play WH2. >Bugs have sapped all fun from the game for me. Is there a mod that gets rid of the order dropping bug, at least? Or am I stuck waiting for CA to fix it? I don't know why it tilt's me so much, but that bug in particular just kills any enthusiasm I have.
I never bring more than one piece of artillery, the damn things always seem to miss ~67% of the time, but it does allow me to just assault the walls instead of waiting for a ram
Artillery in TW has always shown its true strength when you bring at least 3-4 of them. One artillery unit does a relatively negligible amount of damage. 3-4 of them of them will route units before they even reach your army and will weaken the rest.
# Lategame I just can't find space for them without dropping something useful. If it wasn't for skink heroes I wouldn't even build the recruitment building.
I'm interested in the Welsh. Always been a cavalryman.

After exterminating the population of Cairo in God's name, we find the Ark of the Covenant, a glorious day for Makouria! Makourian soldiers also stormed Alexandria and for the first time in history we have direct access to the mediterranean
I remembered about it halfway through and stopped watching in case it's the same.

Amazon didn't deliver my package even though I was at home and now I have to go outside and pick it up myself at the post office this is unnaceptable I'm in the middle of my campaign
I feel bad for corner camping as Malekith but holy fuck the amount of Skaven/Norscan stacks you have to fight.

With the arab heathens banished to the deserts of the Arabian peninsula and a resounding victory for Makouria, we have to plan our next move. Do we move into Arabia to take over the indian spice trade or do we look further north towards the ever increasing in power catholic crusader kings?
Stainless Steel, Broken Crescent (if you magae to find it, last time I had to search quite a bit), Third Age Total War with Divide&Conquer Submod.
Stainless Steel also has a few submods that are noteworthy. I use Battle for the Baltic which expands on the Teutonic and Lithuanian rosters and finally adds Sweden to the game

I'm really struggling with winning battles in shogun 2, I fought against an army with light cavalry and just got flanked and crushed. my general unit seemed super weak and couldn't take a regular cavalry unit alone

M2 will always be fucked due to the hard cap on factions. Only 29 faction can be present in a campaign, not even mods can ever fix this. M2 as a historical game will always be shit even with SS installed.

Short biography of him from some history site, paid for by CAs shillshekels ancient.eu/Bardr_mac_Imair/ >The little information available on him depicts him consistently as “a great Viking Tyrant,” but this is to be expected when one’s life story is written by one’s enemies. >Even so, there are other Norse leaders mentioned in the Irish chronicles who are not so consistently depicted as brutal marauders and so it may well be that Bardr was as ruthless as the clerics claim.
