Ai-When I first read the route I thought it was really great albeit I did have a problem with Hiroshi being a dumbass in their relationship. I think this is because if you read Ai route directly from the common route, it flows very well. And I did think it was cute and enjoyable but the problem is once you read the other two, you realize that the route doesn't really go many places (though it does do better than Maki at least). It's just Ai is cute and Hiro wants her to be normal. It's not a good sign when the most dramatic moments were the confessions
Maki-Why did people say Ai's is the worst route when this exists? I can see the enjoyment if you REALLY liked Maki's character and just wanted a whole route of screwing around like Maki is but I wasn't really feeling it. Trip was right in the sense that things only got interesting during that last half hour. That was pretty great but that leaves 3-4 hours of messing around. A good way of showing the difference in her's compared to the other two is the cosmetic option. Ai's hair color and Renna's hair style indicates their feelings to change for Hiroshi but Maki's is just "that shit's hot yo"
Renna: Undeniably the best route. The only one where it felt like it really was actually about something. It had plot, it had foreshadowing, it had real fun. It felt like the Agave route again but much better. I think Renna's route is the ideal most people had when going into the VN in terms of how it would handle the delinquent stuff and it delivered. Also, Renna's fucking cute.
When I started, I really did think it was going to be better than Majikoi because I love seeing delinquents in stuff but ultimately with only one really good route and a fun common route, I don't think they compare. It feels like a downgrade honestly. They didn't play up the delinquent angle nearly as much as they should have which is weird considering it's a VN about delinquents. Didn't hate it but could've been better
Am I the only one who wants Koikuma to come out more than anything else from SP right now?

I mean that's why I said if you like Maki as a character, you'd probably like the route because the route is like her. It goes where it wants. But it's just that Majikoi did much better at having all the routes have something going on which is what I preferred
