I wouldn't go that far, especially when people here have thrown fits and blamed devs for their potato-powered toasters not being able to play their game.
Supposedly you'll want to skip the last tier of belts, as the input cost doesn't really play in your favor for a speedrun. That's about all I've heard.
Things certainly aren't perfect and the main problem was enemies keep shooting their cannon off at which point I drive into the enemy and we dual-suicide-bomb them, but I'm glad to see this shit in good action.
