Most likely it came from Microsoft's side. Game publishers don't really have that much say in that stuff and obviously would always go for an option that keeps more money to the player to buy slutty outfits with.

I think it's going to be fine. I don't remember hearing anyone say that they were only going to play because of world pvp and besides, it takes no time to hit 65. None of the free games on ps4 require ps plus to play

You think? This concerns the entire concept of WPVP from 1-65, not just starting that phase at 65. While complaints constantly came of low level player killing, the mutual or slightly above and below pvp for those level brackets was pertinent to the experience. The game state has never been the same after that pathetic minority appeasement.

Xbox and Ps4 refuse to allow games to be cross platform with each other, mainly because Sony have a larger playerbase and it would be a selling point for their competition if they did.
Console patches have to be verified by Sony and Microsoft, this costs money. So patches are behind on those platforms, they try to put multiple patches at once to save money.
The only way to make PC cross platform with any console would be to basically reduce patch frequency on PC.
Also console players are a disadvantage to pc players with action combat.

Combat All the other "action-mmos" have combat that feels way to floaty while tera's combat feels like it has some weight to it which I like. There's so much wasted potential which is true, but you know all other mmos suck when you keep going back to the one that sucks the least. Besides the talent system ktera isn't that much different. It's still bad that we don't have some kind of compensation for it. Also there are a lot more tera regions. You also have taiwan, japan, russian and thai tera all with their own respective publishers.

I prefer this game's combat to other games with similar action combat gimmicks. Black Desert would have won me over and been my go to MMO if the endgame had anything to do besides grinding for zero reason.
Don't use spacebar for skill chains, use them manually.

If you want to play melee, go Brawler.
If you want to play ranged, go Gunner.
Don't play Reaper until you're familiar with the game and have at least one other character max level (level 65). It starts out at a high level and you won't know what you're doing if you're new. Ease yourself into it slowly.
Don't worry about the cash shop shit until you know you like the game. Some of it is nice to have (like the bank pets), but it's not totally needed right away.

Pro tip: if you want to play console but don't want to spend fucking $40 on it or be left in the dust as everyone abuses bugs during the first week that you don't get to, twitch prime is doing a promo where you get better rewards than the $40 version.

Yes it's faster and it will teach you to pay attention to your skills and cooldowns instead of mashing space and accidentally canceling your skills like a retard, which many new players do Seconding this, archer is easier and does more damage. Gunner is a fun class and THEY'RE NOT RANGED, to play them optimally you play at melee range please note that. Ab detonation time will be longer at range and you can't execute one of your main combos if you're not literally up the boss' ass.

Playing warrior on a controller is very dumb, playing with a controller in the first place is dumb, lancers party buffs are the main reason but not the only depending on which tank you compare it to

You have to let them fuck you. if you mean like how the Vulcan would jump at someone sometimes you can try to stun at the start of the animation but during the "Vulcan is jumpy" bit there's not much you can do. Just hold the aggro and try not to make the boss move from any of your dodging, follow after it if it moves unless there's a specific spot you want to be tanking it in
