I don’t really get how conqueror works on ranged exactly

I don’t think there’s basically any internal cooldown so as far as I can tell you enter combat, it stacks up, then the actual buff procs on hit with an auto and gives you extra damage + 20% true damage for 3 seconds, but then after the three seconds I guess it just immediatley starts stacking back up if you’re still in combat and the cycle repeats? So instead of melee where it’s just indefinitley up if you’re ranged it basically just toggles on for three seconds and toggles off for four endlessly?

To be honest he would just get creamed once he teleported as long as he didn't have a stun. It's a poor design because an atk speed build which is encouraged clashes with being super easy to shut down once there.
