So it's Goku, Gohan, Goten, Gotenks, Turles, Vegetto, Bardock and Black? They barely sound different at all.

If what I hear about Frieza not needing assists to play his game is true then that's a good team. 18 would be for those occasional close-quarters situations, and Krillin would be for occasional healing in certain situations where you're certain the opponent can't steal the bean.

Get a hard knockdown with Frieza, tag in 18, go fucking nuts on pressure/oki aided by rock assist. Then, if you need to play neutral with 18, use Frieza assist as a long-range poke/check.

I mean, you can tell it's all the same woman, but she changes her inflection for each character. Goku, Gohan, and Goten for example all talk with different intonation, not to mention different pitch (not just Goten being higher, Gohan's actually deeper-voiced than Goku).

I prefer dub for much of the cast, but I respect what Nozawa does. Also she's blatantly superior for Black.

His whiffed dash elbow in the air acts like a ghetto airdash. Use it to mix up his air movement. j.M is a great move, and once in a while you can use 5S to catch/punish shit. Also, use 236S to cover your approach and the occasional grounded 214L/M to auto-guard and punish an approach/button you've read.

What I posted is actually a lot simpler than you might think.

Start with this;

superdash -> M -> M -> QCF S

So go into training mode. Superdash. Hit medium and let it hit twice, then jump + towards and hit medium again. Once the 2nd medium hits twice, instantly cancel that into a quarter circle forward + ki to do the frieza ball. Then cancel that into a super - level 1 or level 3.

That's the basic Frieza combo, and you can get there from any hit.

Go into 6H xx 236L covered by an assist, then start over. Occasionally use 214L instead since on block you're put into the air. 214H costs a bar but on block it puts you in the air behind them which is a fucking great place to be.

Curious, why two j.M's instead of j.LM? Also I can do basic stuff like that, it's more that I can't do anything outside of a corner really and I'm too retarded to figure out assist combos. I just figured out how to add my eye laser to the corner BNB. It builds 1 meter and meterlessly it deals a total of 4075 damage.

Frieza's j.M hits twice. His j.M 9 j.M does quite a bit more damage than the standard LMLM.

Eye lasers get you a lot of extensions in the corner, off of vanish, or off of assist.

Frieza doesn't really get extensions without meter, corner, or assist.

His j.LM>j.LM does more than j.M>j.M though. Both of them have the extra 2 hits from j.M.

Know any basic beam assist combos with him?

Yep.
Certain characters make that tricky though. At least for me.

His extensions are very flexible. You should basically be able to extend off of 236S with any assist or extend off of any assist with vanish. I'm pretty scrubby so I haven't gotten further than that, but the info you want is probably available in those videos I posted.

I think everything up to light green is very accurate.
