None. The Max and Chloe was just laughably badly written manufactured tearjerking shit with Max leaving in the middle of the funeral and the retconned tape. And William's death had no impact because that was the hundredth time we've seen it happen.

Retconned or not, I the tape tugged at my heart pretty hard, as did the conversation about "being together even when we're not". Chloe breaking down by the door when Joyce walked in also kind of got me.

My favorite part of the prequel. Deck Nine did a very good job of taking something that was obviously going to try to end with a tragic "twist ending" but still gave some very happy and touching moments. I agree with some that the tape in the end was a retcon and baseless addition, but it was a good one.
Both have lost someone close to them in someway because they held painful secrets. Both have done things in the past they're not proud of. Even if it's a mutual agreement to just abandon fighting and have a blank slate. It could grow into a friendship (because of connection to mutual friends) but even at first a simple bit of civility would be a big improvement.
I think that Chloe and Victoria could become friends eventually. Victoria can be pretty cruel and cold but I think that on the inside she has a good heart.
It was the collaborative /lisg/ fic that used to be linked in the OP post. I'm not sure if it's among the listed fics that are there now.
The idea got used in a few different bits of fan art IIRC. For example, we used it in the fan epilogue video (second from the right on the bottom row of the cork board):

People who play BtS first and say that Rachel would never do the things they say she does in LiS completely miss the point of the ongoing theme of "people are not always what they seem".
That video was also inspired by molli's art. A great product of /lisg/'s creativity and content creators. Renderanon's epilogue is still my favorite. Had the game ended with something like that, and maybe one more chance to run through Max's diary and read some stuff about after the storm, I would have been satisfied. I would have forgiven a decent amount of the flaws that Polarized had.
Well said, blonde Chloe is something that would need to happen in the future when she feels ready for it. And when Max is ready to make new memories associated with seeing that; not only of younger Chloe or the alt. Chloe. Blue is beautiful on her, but so is blonde, or a mix, or any other color. It's all Chloe and that's what matters.
