If they wanted to really mimic his Fates effect then he would receive 50% damage reduction, not 30%, from magic attacks and have a guard effect built in. Takumi's is fine, in my opinion, it's a weird and fun effect with niche uses that I doubt most people would care for. Otherwise Takumi's statline is alright. Leo on other hand really needed a good effect to salvage his statline.
