I think I may have made the mistake of my life Veeky Forums.
Been in a relationship with this woman I met at college while majoring in political science and liberal arts. We have been common law for a little over a year now. Things had been going well until last night.
You see I have made it a habit to use two internet browsers on my laptop. Google chrome for all my normie stuff like facebook, instagram, youtube and twitter. Then I use firefox for my secret private things like crytocurrency, Veeky Forums, and porn.
Well last night when my GF asked to use my laptop and I didn't hesitate because i thought everything was fine like usual. Turns out I logged into my cointracking and forgot to sign out in google chrome.
She went there and saw my balance, found all this money i had been hiding from her this whole entire time. I literally don't know what to do now. She says that because i'm from canada the common law rules state after 6 months of living together she is entitled to half of my finances.
What should i do Veeky Forums I thought i was being smart by using two internet browzers but it feels like my whole world is tumbling down.

I'm not sure what the law is like in Canada, but in the US crypto is legally considered property and not money so even if she would be entitled to half of your finances crypto wouldn't apply until you cash out. Like this guy said.
